Mask that comes with this is too small but a one size fits most (most tiny kids maybe). You definitely need to order a Large for an 8-10 year old. My son is an average to small 9-yr old. Costume fits fine (size Large) but the mask is tiny....we are having to get a white face mask to cover the top of his head to not look goofy. I have asked the store to let the company know...make the mask bigger...kind of ruins the costume so I am calling it a poor design.

We ordered a size Medium for my son who is a size 8-10, exactly the size recommended on the size chart. It was so small he couldn't wear it without major modifications. I had to cut it in half and add 3" of fabric across the middle to lengthen it, and still the legs were too short, the arms too short, and so tight around the neck it couldn't velcro closed. The quality was so-so, average for a halloween costume. Definitely order this is a much bigger size than you need. The mask was not good quality at all, just held on with a small piece of elastic and it does not go all the way around the head. At least it wasn't cardboard.

Overall good. Face mask pressed against nose my son complained uncomfortable. Pants didn't stay velcro under shoes.

My son was excited to find a costume slightly off the main stream. The description read "helmet mask" and he thought it was a two piece thing that would be like a real helmet (like the Iron Man one). The mask does not cover the whole head. The mask is very flat. The elastic to hold the mask onto the head is small which makes it smash into the nose. Never even got around to trying on the suit because the kid said no way he'd wear the mask. Mask was too wide and flat which made it uncomfortable even if I added something to the back to loosen.

We returned it to the store and purchased the Iron Man costume that had full helmet mask.

The material is thin & the costume looks cheap. The mask sits flat across the face causing my son's nose to be squished & uncomfortable (& he has a little nose.) Therefore he chose to not wear the mask, which is half the costume.

I ordered this for my 9 1/2 yr old son. The costume itself was decent for the price - fit him fine & he was very happy with the style. He was the only one in his school with this costume so that was also a plus. However the mask that came with it was horrible - the strap was so small it didn't even fit my 7 yr old & the mask portion was very flat - it smashed the nose badly making it both uncomfortable & hard to breathe. I ended up ordering a better 2 piece mask from another website. Spirit did not have any other options available

The costume was super-cute, however the mask is just un-wearable. It is so flat, my 6-year old has a very small nose and it is squished in the mask. To bad, otherwise, was a fantastic costume but we did have to get a replacement mask.

My son could NOT wait for this to come, and it arrived amazingly fast!! Like 2 days after I ordered it! The costume is well made- thick material that DOESN'T SNAG ON THE VELCRO!!!!!!!!!!! He loves it!

Our son loves this costume. He tore it out of the package and had it on in seconds. It was very easy for him to put on. I can't make or sew Rex, so for the sale price of [$], it was a good deal. However, the blue blaster is not available as seen in the picture.
