Q: Can I be notified when a product comes back in stock?

A: At this time we currently do not offer email notification for product availability. We are constantly receiving restock shipments online and in store, so we suggest you check back with us periodically. For estimated restocking dates on specific items, please email us at GuestServices@spirithalloween.com

Q: How do I pre-order an item?

A. Some out of stock items are available for Pre-Order and are noted as such on the product detail page, along with their estimated in-stock date. Just add the product you want to pre-order to your cart and check out as usual. We will ship the item to you when the pre-order item becomes available. Your credit card will not be charged until your order actually ships. Please Note:

  • Orders may ship out before the estimated in-stock date if the product becomes available sooner than expected.
  • Expiration Date of the credit card used for the pre-order must be later than the estimated in-stock date of the item.
  • Pre-Order items cannot be added to existing orders.
  • Shipping charges will be based on shipping rates at the time the order is placed.
  • Your credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped. This may be prior to the estimated in-stock date if the product becomes available sooner than expected.
  • The Pre-Order option is only available on selected products on a first come first serve basis.
  • The Estimated In-Stock Date listed on the product detail page is only an approximate date and is not guaranteed. Products may occasionally become available later than the posted date due to unforeseen circumstances.

Q: Can my animatronic be used outdoors?

A: Most of our animatronics are recommended for indoor use only. Some do state that they can be used outdoors as long as it is set up in a covered space where it is not exposed to extreme temperatures, rain, or dew. If exposed to these elements the life and quality of your prop may be affected.

We recommend that you read the instructions for your prop carefully to find out if it is recommended by the manufacturer for outdoor use.

Q: Do all of your animatronics come with an adapter?

A: No. Some of our animatronics are battery operated only. Please read the product description page of the animatronic carefully and it will tell you whether or not the adapter is included.

Q: Do your costumes run big or small?

A: Most of our costumes run smaller than the standard clothing size. If you think that you are between two sizes we suggest selecting the bigger size. We also have a 14 day return policy, so if you are still unsure you can purchase both sizes to try on and return the size no longer needed for a refund.

Q: Do you sell colored contacts online?

Q: I was able to add the product to my cart, but it disappeared when I went to check out.

A: Well...unfortunately, our website is not always capable of refreshing as quickly as we would like. So even though an item may say it is available, if you can't add the item to the cart, the item is out of stock.

Q: Why is the purchase of toy guns restricted?

A: Certain products offered for sale by Spirit Halloween are restricted from delivery/sale to certain states and municipalities.

These locations have laws preventing the sale of these goods in these areas.

SPIRIT Halloween has identified those restrictions under state law and will not ship prohibited items to the identified locations. For more information please review your local/state laws.

Q: Can the Universal Footpad Activator be used with all animatronics?

A: No. The footpad activator can only be used with select products. Please check the product description of the animatronic to see if the footpad activator is listed as an option of activation for the prop.

Q: Are all your animatronics both sound and motion activated?

A: Unfortunately not all of our animatronics are both sound and motion activated. Some of our props are only limited to one or the other. Please review the product description for the prop to determine how the item can be activated.

Q: My animatronic is not working as anticipated.

A: Turn the prop off then disconnect the form of power (remove the batteries or unplug the product). Check the instructions to make sure all pieces and wires are properly connected. Reconnect the prop to its power source and turn it back on to see if it is now functioning properly.

You may also want to check and make sure the sensor is clear of obstructions. Sometime the fabric of the prop may get in the way. Also, props relying on a motion sensor need to be placed in a well lit area. If the prop is set in shadows with no definite way to sense a break in the light, it may not function as anticipated.

Q: How do I know what size to select?

Q: The size I need is listed on the size chart, but I am unable to select it.

A: The size chart provided is a general chart supplied by the vendor for the sizing of their products. There may be sizes listed on the chart that we currently do not sell in the item you are looking at. To see what sizes are available please view the options present in the 'Select a Size' box.

Q: What does tween mean?

A: Tween sizing is for children who are a little too big to fit our kid size costumes but not big enough to fit in the teen sized costumes.

Q: Do you sell colored contacts in stores?

A: Our novelty lenses are only available for purchase in store at our Canadian locations. Unfortunately they are not available for purchase in our US locations at this time.

Q: Are your contact lenses FDA approved?

A: All the novelty contact lenses we sell are FDA approved.

Q: Do I need a prescription?

A: As with corrective lenses, you MUST have a prescription for novelty lenses as well.

Q: Can I return contact lenses?

A: Novelty lenses are a custom made product and considered final sale items with no refunds or exchanges.
