Comments about Spirit Halloween 7 Color Makeup Palette:
I have had some pretty poor experiences with Halloween store brand makeup in the past (anyone who has used those generic face paints knows what I'm talking about), so the bar was set pretty low when I bought this. I was surprised, first of all, at how nice the packaging was. It's a very durable plastic like one you'd find on a typical cosmetic palette, not some flimsy cheap one. Secondly, the creams apply like butter, or at the very least, a smooth lipstick. The color pay off is pretty decent, though the color can slide around a little when you try to add more product. Speaking of applying, the little sponge applicator that comes with it is basically useless. Just get some cheap cosmetic sponges, they work just as well if not better. Also, though I am disappointed by the lack of more purple tones for bruising (there's a yellow and a green, I don't know why they didn't just go there), I am pretty satisfied with how the color selection goes together. There is plenty of product in the pots, but I wish there was less product and more color choices. Overall, I am pleased with this palette and its quality and would probably buy again if I ever had to.

Exactly what I was looking for

I found it rather easy to apply and that it didn't take too much to actually use. I used the darker colors for some contouring and the paler ones for coloring and it worked just fine. I was happy with the colors, especially since I've seen other color palettes with less variation. I think it'll be good for what I have planned (pale appearance and lots of wounds).

Not a great palette.

I purchased this product because it was a good deal, but the makeup was heavy, though it looked fine, and it was difficult to blend. Also there is no bruise color so it's pretty limited in its usefulness. I would go for a palette from a professional stage makeup company rather than this, yes it costs more but you get a better selection of colors and it is much easier to get the results you want without LOOKING like you are wearing makeup.
