We ordered a Small (size/age 4-6) for my average size 6.5 year old and it was WAY too big. While the leg & arm length seemed appropriate, the body (from the neck to the crotch) was enormous. My son's measurements are 18" neck to crotch while the costume measured at 23" neck to crotch - that's 5" waaaaay too long. This made him look and feel very frumpy. The only positive was that it was freezing for trick or treating, so he successfully fit long underwear, thermal pants & top, sweatpants, sweatshirt, and a fleece underneath with room to spare.
