We bought this for our son who, ironically, is not allowed to watch Walking Dead BUT he has seen the commercials and my wife and I are huge fans so he picked up on the cool factor of "rick grimes" character. That said, the costume itself was not cheap but we also got a realistic costume that seems like it could hold up for years (if only right) so it was a nice surprise. The costume was realistic and hit the mark for this Halloween.

My 7yr old loved it... measurements were right on. The only dislike was my sons gun didn't fit in the holster and his badge tore off... other then that was a great costume.

My son turned 12 last week and is average size. Purchased the large size which supposedly fits a 12-14 year old. The large was a joke - ridiculously small - it would fit an 8-10 year old. We exchanged it for an XL which fit him perfectly. Rule of thumb on this costume is buy a Large for 8-10, XL for 10-12, mens medium for 12-14. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing, would have saved a lot of time doing the exchange.

I bought this Rick Grimes costume for my 11 year old son. The costume ran extremely small. He loved it, but was really upset with the poor fit. We made it work with him with alterations, but be sure to order a size up than normal.

My son is a very slim size 12 no way would a 10-12 have fit him its stretching that a 14-16 did. I think sizing is way off!! I would have had a very unhappy boy had I ordered his true size.

The size stated boys 14-16. I would have to say it's more like a size 8-10. It also came without the hat, although both the website and the package label stated the costume included the hat. Overall experience...very disappointing.

The costume looks great, not cheaply made. I ordered a size larger for my son bc most times costumes run small, the shirt fits very well had I have ordered a size smaller the shirt would prob be to short, however the pants are too big! But we we able to roll the waist band and when we put on the belt you can hardley notice. Also the badge is made of paper and fell off almost as soon as we took it out but nothing a little superglue can't fix! All in all I'm pretty happy with it and my son LOVES it! That's what's important! Thanks!

Costume fits well and is roomy enough to wear something underneath. Material is good quality for a costume, and details are good. The hat didn't come with the first time, so I had to exchange. It did come the second time. Happy with purchase
