This is absolutely beautiful. The neckline specifically, with the gauze and fake pearls, makes a feminine statement. The fabric is a stretch crushed velvet, allowing it to fit multiple body types without issue and give it nice texture. The deciding factor for me was the waist details: Although it is very slimming, the back of the waist has no details whatsoever! The fabric on the back is paper thin and unflattering. Perhaps if there was a cape to cover it, this could be overlooked, but the back top of the garment is surprisingly transparent.

Purchased for a community theater show, it is perfect for the part. Wish it was machine washable, but we will deal.

This is a great basic costume for creating any female Greek and/or Roman character you want with this. I am adding wings to this so I can be the goddess Nike/Victoria. It did however come with a hole in the back seam. This was easily fixed. You will also need a slip for it as the costume has a semi-see-through panel in the back.

I was really looking for something different this year for Halloween and noticed Spirit has this Roman Beauty costume exclusively! It's my ultimate romantic vision of a real Roman Empress and I fit it perfectly. The quality is better than most other costumes too. Couldn't ask for better! (Except maybe add some nice jewelry next time lol ;)
