I got this for my sister, who is a medium. The medium/ large is so big that it needs to be taken in about an inch-and-a-half on both sides. I'm afraid the only other option, extra small/small would be too small. The design and material is nice, so I'm taking it to the tailor. There goes my sale price! Also, the feather is fuchsia, & doesn't match.

Really big. I wear a size 10, so I ordered a medium/large. WAY too big! I don't even know if I'll be able to take it in enough.

I am 5'7" and a size 8 and the Medium/Large dress was way too big on me. I cinched it up on the inside with safety pins, which helped a lot. The fringe on the dress covered up the seams, so no one noticed my amateur fix! Everyone liked the costume! It is not over the top sexy and covers up your butt! I paired it with a hot pink wig to stand out even more! Weird though, that some people actually don't know what a flapper is!!!

I wore this costume to a murder mystery dinner theater, accessorized with fishnet backseam pantyhose, pearls almost as long as the dress, and a bob wig. Due to the wig, I did not wear the headband but just bobbypinned the feathers (which, fortunately, were not attached to the headband) to the wig. My boyfriend, who was dressed as a gangster, and I won Best Dressed. I'm a size 12, and the "Medium/Large 8-12" fit fine and was very comfortable. It was a little on the short side, but not ridiculous. Also washed well on the delicate cycle.

Super cute & doesn't seem as cheaply made as many other costumes are...although I am usually a medium, the store where I purchased this only had XS, I tried it on anyway & it fit fine?! It came with the head piece so I picked up a boa & am good to go! I recommend this costume~it fits well, nicely made for the price & is different than most Flappers being hot pink:)
