Comments about Spirit Halloween 5 Ft Realistic Skeleton - Decorations:
It is brown in color but but it is dark when people see it anyways. Best price I have seen for a skeleton.

About Me Classic
I was so excited on the price of this skeleton so I rushed to Spirit to buy one. This skeleton is molded with no individual ribs or details. Looks cheap and not realistic. Maybe good for a kids party. The skeleton that I think people are really reviewing here sells for $49.99 and is indeed fantastic and probably worth the cash. But don't let the reviews mislead you.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We are very happy with Skelly.
We haven't used the skeleton yet, but are getting ready to celebrate Halloween in grand fashion. He is just what we ordered. On our sofa he has become one of the family.Thank you
Okay for far away, but looked kinda cheap up close.
Loved these as they climbed the house for Halloween!
I love how realistic they are and they worked perfectly to crawl the side of my house for Halloween. They only reason I had to rate them a 4, rather than a 5, is because they were a bit hard to fit together because the plastic around the hole caved in when I put the necessary force on it to get the parts together. I learned on my second one to twist and push the part in rather than just force it in straight. Otherwise, LOVED these!
Perfect sized for Halloween party decor!
Perfect for our Halloween party.
Great for Outside Use
About Me Midrange Shopper
I bought 2 of these to put on our front porch in our adirondack chairs. Perfect size and looks great with the strobe hitting them. Picture online is a little deceiving though, they are not white and black, they have more of a yellowish and brownish color to them and not as much contrast as the picture online. Overall good buy for the price!

I will be buying more of theses for sure!!!
I LOVE this skeleton! And for the price it is well worth it I think!!! I will be ordering a couple more for next year!!
Great for the price.
For the price, you can't beat it. No, it's not the quality of one of those heavier $49 or $50 skeletons, but it's also half the price. They are somewhat poseable. And my husband just drilled a hole in different areas and moved the limbs where we wanted to pose them. They are pretty realistic looking. Better I think than the picture. More of a dingy old bone color.
Cheap plastic looking

Was going to use inside. So poor looking might use outside. The quality of this product is not the usual Spirit quality. Very disappointed.
nice, but flimsy
from Kemptville, Ontario, Canada
It was great for the entire Halloween season. It was a fantastic prop when for my Halloween display.Wasn't easy to put together, though, especially when attaching the upper thigh bones to the pelvis. Worse, the tabs broke for those pieces when taking it apart after Halloween. While disappointed, I suppose I could display the bones in other ways, but it makes me reluctant to buy another one. I would love a skeleton for a Halloween display, but the flimsiness wasn't worth it. Overall, not the greatest prop I've ever purchased, but then again not the worst.
Good for the money

About Me Budget Shopper
These were the largest skeletons I could find for the price. They weren't the best or most realistic looking, and seemed a little smaller than 5 feet, but they were by far the least expensive for the size. And I guess someone else thought so too, because I put 3 on my front porch and 2 got stolen one Saturday night!
Just what I was looking for
Used at a Halloween party for granddaughter - put on a raft in the pool with sunglasses on -
PERFECT FOR WHAT I NEEDED
from Jacksonville NC
These worked fine for what I needed. Attached to side of house as if they were climbing the wall. Take time assembling and they'll be fine. Can't beat the price for 5' skeletons.
Good but not as good as the ones in the store
from San Antonio, TX
Ordered the skeleton for use in my home-based haunted house. Used the skeleton to create a corpse. Was disappointed to find that the skeleton was cheaply made with the bones of the chest wall being one, continuous piece of plastic. Still, the price was good and the shipping and delivery was efficient.

Great product at a reasonable price. Looked realistic in our Halloween display. Large size makes it easy to see. Very easy to set up. Needs additional structure to maintain pose (not included but easily created at home).

Was creepy sitting on my living room couch to scare my fmily, and then I rigged it outside on my front steps and awning with fishing line. Scared the kids in the neighborhood too! LOL!

It came in quick in time for Halloween. It was a great size to put around the house and yard for my decor. I will definitely be ordering another for next year!

About Me High-end Shopper
The skeletons were better than the reviews I was reading before I purchased. I took a chace and was overwhelmed with the items. Can't wait to they go on sale again, I will buy another 10.Bought 10 and hung them from a large oak tree on my property..Friends called saying they were appearing on FACEBOOK, I was surprised. Was the hit of the neighbor hood. Took me three weeks into November before I could get the time to get them down...Neighbor came over and was sad, she thought they were being left up year round!! LOL!!
can be slightly trying to get together

Good budget buy; variety of uses
By C Brown
from Georgetown, SC
This skeleton is a good budget buy or if you want to buy a large quantity. If your only need is to hang it up it will do just fine. For my use, I placed these climbing up the outside of my house and in trees. For that purpose you will need to thread fishing line through all of the bones (most holes are already there) using a heavy sewing hand needle. This allows placing the skeleton in multiple positions that would otherwise break the flimsy connectors. It also gives a much greater range of motion that even the more expensive posable skeletons cannot achieve. Be sure to have lots of fishing line to support each joint angle that you want.

It's what you would expect
By Crazy Halloween Lady

This is exactly what I expected for the price. It is not high quality and probably won't last forever, but the little guy will just be sitting on the porch a few days a year - it doesn't have to be super durable. The only thing I was a little bummed about was that there is not great flexibility in the joints. I initially bought him to hang from my roof, but the way the arms and legs attach to the shoulders/hips really inhibits the ability to "pose" them much. You can't lift his hands above his head without the bones coming detached. I also want to add that Spirit customer service is awesome! One of my skeletons arrived damaged and they had a another one on its way the next day.

I propped this guy coming out of our Wishing Well in the front yard and it looks really good!
seems a bit small

I wanted to pose this in a kneeling position but found it too stiff to do so. Can't complain however for the price was extremely good.

Get what you purchase but fixed easily
By Halloween Addict
These skeletons always break at the joints/connection. Easy fix. Use heavy nylon rope Tie a knot to shove in the hole of one bone then tie a knot an inch or so away from the other knot. Cut the excess rope off and shove that knot in the hole of the other bone. Skeleton has looser joints and won't break.
so so ..

Had problems getting legs on ,, had to trim holes with knife. One arrived with some bad dents due to quality of plastic. Size is nice but iffy on quality.
from Milpitas, CA
One of the connectors broke even though I wasn't trying too hard. And I bought it yesterday and it was used only once today for 3-4 hours. Doesn't seem worth the money for a one-time use, especially if I have to now figure out hard how to fix the brokwn connector!
I don't recommand
The skeleton was delivered with a broken leg. I contacted the seller and I didn't get any answers.
