I bought this for my 4 year old son. The costume ran a little small but was made to fit very snug anyway. Before Halloween, he wore it to a costume party. The arm weapon strap ripped and was irreparable. We had to use electric tape to fix it. AND the costume ripped at the seam where the waist meets on the back side. The whole costume is very thin and cannot go over baggier clothes (jeans, etc) so plan to be in a warmer area to wear it. Basically, we will need to make do for Halloween and sew the costume back up before the 31st, but I don't expect it to make it for reuse next year.

My son was super excited to get his costume. When we first tried it on the jumpsuit was a near perfect fit for his stature, I don't have any complaints there. When we put the chest shield on, it was too big for the costume, and for my son. The method to fasten the chest shield on not ideal for any child. It is simply two pieces of ribbon that criss-cross in the back and Velcro together. The arm gun was even worse, it already came bent so we had to heat it with the blow-dryer and re-form it. It slips onto the arm and has elastic straps (two) that are suppose to keep it on the arm. This costume piece, again, was too big and did not stay on at all! It was more ideally sized for an adult arm. The face mask was another piece that was fit for an adult costume. It did not fit to the face correctly, he could not see out of the eye-holes. The costume would have been more ideal if the plastic pieces were also sized to fit according to the size of jumpsuit. We ended up having to cut the eye pieces out just so he could see, and using safety pins to hold the other pieces on the child. :( I believe this costume was over-priced for the quality, and am glad the more expensive one was sold out because that was the one we were originally wanting and would have been a greater disappointment.

Great costume. It was send without the mask but they shipped it to me right away. Customer service like that is rare. My grandson loves it and wears it almost everyday.

We got this for my son for trick or treating. He is 3 years old and is big for his age. He is 3 foot 7 inches tall. He is also ALL BOY. He Loved the costume and has worn it everyday since Halloween. For [$]we got a costume and a play outfit that will last. We get our kids costumes from Spirit every year because our kids love to play dress up. The quality is great and the prices reasonable. Optimus Prime was no disappointment.

I liked the costume for our disabled child,it was very easy to put on over his clothes so he would keep warm .He just didn't like the mask ,and the arm weapon,he would of liked a weapon that you carry in your hand.We went to several Halloween parties,everybody loved his costume.The parents Iknow wouldn't buy their child this costume sincethey don't have the money.He also had fun playing in the costume also.[...]
