How Can I Donate to SOC?
In Store - Visit your local Spirit store! Check our website here for store details.
Online - Spirit Halloween and Spirit Christmas are always open online! You can round up or make a gift during checkout, or by visiting our donation page.

How does Spirit of Children support hospitals?
Spirit of Children operates as a pass-through charity so that funds flow quickly and directly to the hospital partners we support. All donations are deposited into our donor-advised fund at Fidelity Charitable, which issues IRS-recognized receipts to individual donors. At the end of each season, 100% of funds are granted to our partner hospitals. This structure ensures accurate record-keeping, clear tracking, and that every gift reaches the children and families who need it.
If I make a donation, can I get a tax receipt?
If you make a donation in store, unfortunately we cannot provide a tax receipt. If you are interested in making a gift where you can be given a receipt, please email us at SOC@spirithalloween.com and we will send you a form with instructions on how to submit to Fidelity Charitable, as they can provide IRS-recognized donation receipts directly to individual donors. Because the DAF sponsor (Fidelity Charitable) is itself a 501(c)(3) public charity, it provides the donor with the tax receipt. That's the only receipt the donor needs for deductibility purposes.
What does my donation support?
Our mission is to make hospitals less scary for kids and their families. Spirit invites guests to donate in-store or online to support pediatric patients in local hospitals. Every dollar stays in the community where it's raised, with 100% of donations going directly to Child Life services that bring joy, comfort, and the magic of Halloween.
