Cheap quality... too expensive...
Comments about Spirit Halloween 5 ft Hanging Skeleton Decoration - Decorations:
Cheap and poorly painted. Not worth the price. I got the same product a while ago and comparing this it this is obviously lower quality.

this is a great skeleton to make into another prop, I'm going to paint it black and then add a wig using moldeling past and make a mud zombie. I'm going to make a stand and place them into my cemertery I've make last year. They look great!
I would not buy this product

About Me Budget Shopper
Product effective hands have been put backwards on every 1
Guest Services Response:The hands on this skeleton are actually facing outwards with the palms facing up, rather than having been put on backwards. Our Quality Control team will be looking at this skeleton for next year to examine how the hands should be put on. Thanks for your feedback!
i would buy more of these.

I loved them but I had to take the hands off and reattach to the right arms.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The skeleton could stand to be a bit more durable, but so long as you use it as it was intended to be used, there shouldn't be a problem. I did have to switch out the hands - they were palm up - but it required less than a minute to fix.
They look great!
We got 2 of these guys and positioned them as if they were climbing up our house. They're a great addition to our display & everyone loves them.
The hands are backwards and cannot be adjusted.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

joints on skeleton need some beefing up
skeletons are great except for the joints where the arms, legs, shoulders, and knees don't bend very well, was afraid i was going to break a leg or arm off. And the hands were mounted backwards.but other than that everything else was OK for what i needed them for.
I WOULD BUY THIS ITEM AGAIN!
GREAT QUALITY! GREAT PRICE!
I intend to purchase additional ones
I purchased 2 of these. I have played with them but have not set them up for display yet. I am happy with the quality. I did however purchase a skeleton stand for the one that will be standing in my display. Good quality for the money. tTe only thing I was disappointed in was that the wrists do not turn to the left or right. only up and down.
I would definitely recommend to buy this product butt with c
Great customer service my first one was stolen and then I got the second one the hands were defective so I returned it to the store over off Sand Lake and John Young Parkway in Orlando Florida great customer service from the management team Michelle and Justin

About Me High-end Shopper
It's advertised as being for "indoor use only," but I have used this skeleton outdoors every year for the past 5 years or more. It's out in the elements (wind, rain, sunshine, etc) from mid-September through beginning of November, and it's still holding together and looks just as good as it did when I first got it. I haven't noticed any rust on the screws, but it's the outdoor use causes rust, it will be an easy repair. This is without a doubt the best "life size" skeleton for the money. I started with 1 skeleton to see how it would handle being outside, expanded it by adding 2 more a few years later, and now I have a total of 7 skeletons.
This Store ROCKS !!!!!!!

Climbin' the House
By The Zoo Crew
from Webster City, IA
Bought these guys after seeing a post that showed skeletons climbing the side of a house. They looked awesome, endured the outdoors and were a huge hit. Fold up very compactly so you can store them away in a tote as well. Wish head would turn but still awesome!

Used as a "driver" in an old truck for Halloween festival. Great size and positional
Great addition to my Halloween collection!

Stood with little assistance. Very creepy addition to outdoor decor. Had people stopping to take pictures. I bought 3 and positioned them outside of Windows and one crawling on the roof. Planning on buying a couple more
Was a Big Hit!
from Miami, Fl.
We put the skeleton outside this past Halloween, sitting on our front porch swing wrapped in chains. Families, men, women and grown kids just wanted their picture taken with it. They would take turns passing the camera around some of them. It was a pleasure to watch. Will purchase another skeleton next year. He came packaged well, but the only negative was you have to be careful of his fingers and toes, very delicate. Thanks Spirit, Mr. Bones was the main attraction.
We named him BONE DADDY
from Fort Wayne, IN
I love this skeleton. It's a generous size (slightly but not noticeably smaller than life size). For a budget item its pretty remarkable in appearance, pose-ability and overall appearance. We named him BONE DADDY and he was the "death of the party" giving great photo ops and adding to the spooky atmosphere. Getting him on sale was the best part.

Much better than the older type, easy to pose, and looks good in costume's for displays.

I hang this in the front yard for all the kiddies to scream at! Very heavy, so take care what yoou hang it from. Screws can be loosened to pose all joints so it can also sit or wave at passers by. A fun prop!
Great mid range posable skeleton
By C Brown
from Georgetown, SC
This skeleton is easily posable and great for either indoor or outdoor use, allowing setup of multiple antics by an individual skeleton or groups. This particular variety is best for poses that need a skeleton sitting or standing upright (although it will still need support). While it can not be fully articulated through all anatomic ranges of motion it has plenty of usable positions. I used these in the yard climbing up a tree and out on a limb (chasing a skeleton cat) with support by fishing line. Great product.
Great addition to my Halloween decorations.

Sits on the front porch, looks great.
Worth the extra money

It's been a while since I've purchased items like this. The ones made out cheaper material over the years really were a waste of money and time when you figure they'd fall apart when you were decorating with them. At about 50 bucks, which isn't chump change, they'd have to be made better and the joints being bolted together and the positive adjustments to the limbs make them worth the money to me. other nice features, harder plastic and very good detail. I've purchased 5 to date and probably will buy more.I really am pleased with them and despite their price, I'd recommend them.

We used the skeletons in an outdoor display, they are sturdy and seem to be holding up really well. Four skeletons carrying a foam core casket we made, looks fabulous.

We are planning to use these skeletons in an outdoor Halloween display. They arrived promptly. In the 6 skeletons we ordered, there were a few broken or chipped bones - particularly hand and finger bones. But we repaired with glue instead of returning. Indoors, they make great props. We haven't tried ourdoors yet but will try to keep them somewhat protected from weaher.
This skeleton is fantastic! The only negative about it is the hands can not be turned but other than that it's great!
Worth the money

Easy to pose. Very realistic. Made out of hard (but not brittle) plastic. I look forward to using this one for years to come.

I bought two of these to put on my roof like they are trying to climb in the window! Can't wait to see how it looks! These are a great buy and are posable which I really like! Happy haunting!
