What You Might Need:
Liquid Latex: This material is commonly used for creating realistic wounds and scars.
Makeup: Cream-based makeup in colors like red, brown, black, and purple for bruising and blood.
Fake Blood: To add a realistic touch to your wounds.
Makeup Brushes and Sponges: These will help you apply and blend the makeup.
Setting Powder: To set the makeup and prevent smudging.
Old Clothes or Apron: Liquid latex, fake blood, and cream makeup can be messy, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Picking Your Fake Wound
The first step in picking a fake wound prosthetic is considering your costume. Dressing up as a zombie? Opt for some flesh wounds or bite marks. Hittin’ the town as Count Dracula? Don’t forget your fangs and some neck bite wounds. Never be afraid to get creative!
How to Apply Fake Wounds

Hold it up to your skin to see where to place it before applying any liquid latex. When ready, apply a thin, even layer of liquid latex to the back of the prosthetic wound piece.
