It’s that time of year again: On Thursday, August 1, 2024, the Spirit Halloween flagship store grand opening celebration in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, will officially kick off the Halloween season with an epic party! Join us at the Carnevil and celebrate alongside other Halloween haunters and fans!
As we’ve done for the past three years, Spirit Halloween will hold a gathering at our flagship store in the Harbor Square Shopping Center to unveil our best costumes, accessories, and décor for Halloween 2024! The first 200 guests will receive an exclusive Spirit Halloween swag bag prior to the store’s opening, starting at 7 a.m. on August 1. Lanyards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 2500 attendees. Line holding for lanyards is not permitted. Do not arrive before 7 a.m.
Note that for safety reasons, overnight parking and camping are not permitted at Harbor Square (formerly Shore Mall).
Located at Spirit Halloween’s Harbor Square Plaza location at 6725 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, this special free event promises to start your Halloween season in a frighteningly good way.
Starting at 9 a.m., The Carnevil will include family-friendly games, special prizes, and entertainment. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local vendors until the festivities conclude at 12 p.m., with the store opening at 10 a.m. You’ll be able to get the first look at this season’s exclusive in-store experience, starring Spirit Halloween’s unique assortment of animatronics. You’ll have plenty of time to get your home prepped for Halloween and decide on a Halloween costume for Halloween 2024.
Attendees will receive numbered lanyards (until all 2500 lanyards are given out) and will enter the Spirit Halloween flagship store based on their lanyard number. Guests will be asked by the event emcee to line up for entry after the 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony based on their lanyard number. If a guest doesn’t have a lanyard, they will be allowed to enter on a first-come, first-serve basis following the admission of guests with lanyards. The store will remain open until 8 p.m.
On-site restrooms and a hydration station will be available starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, through the duration of the festivities.
