Comments about Spirit Halloween Zombie Gnome Sidestepper - Decorations:
This guy was great when I first got him. Nice, solid plastic on the hands and heads, bright LEDs, nicely detailed, and cool movement and sounds. I've used him quite a bit and enjoyed him, but for some reason he's been having a problem lately. His movement becomes slow and sometimes gets stuck. I've tried fresh batteries and different brands of batteries, but nothings helped. The movement doesn't seem to be obstructed, and the sound and lights are fine.I would probably recommend this, but be warned that you could have this problem. I hope Spirit can help me fix this.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Favorite thing ever.
Someone brought this to work and it was just adorable so I had to go online and buy him. He wiggles and grunts and growls and is a great price. I love him. I named him George.

About Me High-end Shopper
I got this guy several years ago and keep him on my desk at work. For Christmas I put a Santa hat on him and he is a zombie elf and St. Patrick's Day I put a green top hat and he's a zombie leprechaun. People love him and watching him do his dance puts a smile on your face

I got a kick out of it. Shared it with family and friends. My daughter ended up keeping it at college. I need to get another

This little guy is big enough to stand out; but, not overwhelming. There are lots of big things around, and plenty of stationary decorations. But, to find something that is animated, and a nice size is GREAT! I do understand the comments about it not being motion-activated. However, keep the price in mind. Also, I HATE yard gnomes! Therefore, I love this little punster even more. I am 64, my son is 23, and we both keep "pushing his button"!

Love the Sidestepper!
from Youngstown, Ohio
I love the Zombie Gnome Sidestepper! I just got him today with two footpads, a green strobe light, and a blue strobe light. I have him in my nursery on a play mat with Creeping Tommy. Out of the Evil Toys, I also have Monkey Chimes and Deady Bear. I will try to get more soon. I think my next purchase will either be the Spider Spell Book or Jacked up Jill. Anyways, I love him! Great job, Spirit Halloween!
Cute, not scary. Decent prop.

This is a cute little prop. Only about a foot tall. It has more of a stuffed toy feel rather than a prop feel. The movements are more cute than scary. Perfect for houses who decorate more conservatively. I also purchased the zombie head wall plaque and was bummed to hear the sounds were the same.
Great little guy!

About Me Connoisseur
When I saw this on the site, I just HAD to have it.. I overlooked it in the store on my first visit, as they didn't put it with the other garden gnomes for some reason. The size is pretty cool, he'd blend in well with actual garden gnomes (not the large ones they sell), though you'd have to make sure not to leave him out overnight, or in the rain/moisture, or I'm such his electronics would fail, and his clothes would deteriorate. When you activate him (by pressing a button on his arm) he does his little jig, amongst zombie moans. At the store, I put four of them on the floor and triggered them, to see how they did. Two of them kept immediately falling over without running into anything. I'd assume that weighting down the feet slightly might make those a little more stable, or experimenting with surface textures for the bottom of his boots, but my guy doesn't fall over at all, so I don't have to worry about it. He looks really good, and will display well on a shelf or something, but I find it very disappointing that he doesn't have a motion or sound sensor to activate him. As a result, he'll probably never be activated at all, which is a real shame.

About Me Classic
He grunts and does the side steps. There is choice between 11 or 22 seconds. My cats were jealous. Sometimes the gnome would get out of hand and fall over on smooth surface. Even that, it's too funny with him on his back.
Needs some sort of remote activation.
from DC Metro Area
This prop is a great idea. It works well and sounds great. HOWEVER, you have to press a momentary switch on the gnome's wrist to activate. This is very awkward and limits its use as a Halloween prop.

Gnomes fused with zombies = laughs

About Me Adventurous, Trendy
There is one thing that is certain about gnomes. Either you love them or you hate them. I have a co-worker that hates gnome and anything with make-up so this was the perfect gag fright. His movements are erratic and unusual to add to the creep factor. A wonderful addition to my gnome collection.
