Out of the box, this vase has a thin, two wire line attached to the in-store demo mode button. If you want to employ this as a programmed or remote control prop, cut those wires right where they connect to the button, but don't remove the vase end, which is attached by a small connector plug.

You can then connect those thin two wires to a SPST switch, relay or animation controller, which allows you wilt the flowers "on command." Also, you can easily hack into the battery compartment and add a jack for an external fixed power supply, which I did.

As for the flowers not resetting after wilting, I haven't experienced that issue, which is likely due to the fact my vase is running off a plug in power "wall wart" adapter which provides the vase circuit with steady, consistent voltage (e.g. the reset issue others are having are in all likelihood occurring due to batteries that have started to run down).

I did a hauted house. Itvwas supposed to be a great fireplace mantle decoration but besides it hauted look, the thing worked mostly in daylight and one time out of three.

These are some cool, but evil flowers! They were great in the store until the demos ran low. I replaced them, and it used to not go all the way up. Then, months have passed and it came to a point where it was VERY close to how it used to be when it used to go ALL THE WAY up. The good news is that it is still doing its regular job. This will be a great addition to our haunted house!

These are some cool, but evil flowers. They used to go up all the way with the demos until they got low. I replaced them and it used to not go up all the way, but since the months have passed, it started to go back up some more (pretty close to how it used to be). But the good news is that it still works properly. Even the sounds are spooky, and the flowers and leaves look very realistic. Spooky!

Flowers wilt but don't come back up!!!. Came in the mail 1 day after the cutoff to send it back. Thought it was the batteries, so I changed them, but it still didn't work.

Really like this little prop a LOT! This is a great one to use your Spirit Halloween discount coupons on! Looks just like that "vase full of the fake black flowers" we have all probably had on display year after year... but this one has a surprise in store!

Excellent indoor prop that will add to your Halloween decor and make your guests giggle. Got to recommend it! I think I will hide mine among many non-animated flowers and wait for the gasps and giggles ;)
