Comments about Spirit Halloween Indoor Specter Projector With Sound:
I used it in the fun house room at work to go with the set up also used it at home for the door only issue I had was that I had to go and switch out the slide every 15 min or so. just to give a different appearance. if there is more slides out there i'd like to see them.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Ever since I got this sucker, our house has been complimented by ToTr's & their parents! I've owned this product for years now and keep it shining outside on my garage door! Durability is there, the awe factor from kids & parents every year always satisfies! :)

Loved this projector
from Phoenix, AZ
This was an awesome little projector. I know it isn't for outdoor use. However, a couple of days before and on the day of Halloween, I used it to project an image just below the eaves of the house. If rain was predicted, I would have brought it inside. The projector was only about 6 feet from the wall of the house and it worked very well at that distance
Just plain fun

Easy to use, you plug it in, turn it on, raise the slide holder, insert the slide (upside-down) and your image is projected. It is a single image with a wavy/dreamy type of effect. Sound effect is included and the volume is adjustable. It is a good effect for the money, but don't expect any kind of animation or mouth movement.

About Me Quality Oriented
This is just what I was looking for! It worked really well. It would be even better if there was more of a variety of the slides (pictures). The background in the slides was really spooky. It's definitely a keeper!
Too dim to project any meaningful distan

This is a good idea and would have helped my haunt if the projection had been significantly brighter. Unfortunately the image is only discernable if projected eight or less feet in a dark room. Sounds are unnecessary if you already have an ambient sound track, but would be nice as a single source of audio. All in all a well built product but not right for my purposes.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me High-end Shopper
I really wanted to like this projector but I had to return it... The problem with this product is that it is just too low tech for me. The preview video makes this product way cooler than it really is. You are given a 6 slides which get stuck when inserted in or taken out (i had to use pliers a couple of times to take off the slides) and you have to manually change the slides which is a pain. The last thing you want to do fidget around with a projector when you are in the middle of throwing a party. This would have been way better if you could change the slides by a mere click of a button. Also, the projected image does not move on the wall but stays in one place and the light just plays a cloudy effect on the image. The sound effect is not scary at all but more silly - the video preview amplified the volume and must have added to the soundtrack because the sound was way too low and a lot of those scary sounds in the preview was missing when I tried the item. This really does not add anything special to my haunted house that I can't do better myself. With the technology that is already out there - if you have a mini projector that works with your laptop - you can do much better on your own.
Fun Party Prop

I put this in my living room and plan to use it during parties. Just a little extra and you can't go wrong with projected images. ; ) The music/effects playing ominously in the background is a nice tough.

Sound control rocks!
By Spirit Addict

I love this thing. The ability to change the volume on it is great because I have other props I'd rather listen to. It'd be neat if the sounds could change per image as well. The image projected can be as big as you want (within reason). We couldn't wait for Halloween to play with it. We took it to a friend's who we helped decorate for, and I was afraid someone would walk off with it!
