Comments about Spirit Halloween Six-Foot Talking Witch Prop With Light-Up Eyes:
She will be added to the MacBeth yard scene. I need to make her a little scarier.

About Me High-end Shopper
The face in nice and not too scary for the children. The body has no structure, so we stuffed the upper body with balled paper and use a tomato cage to give her hips and a leg structure. We also stuffed the hat with fiber fill to keep it from collapsing. The broom is not nice because the broom stick is made with a thick wire wrapped with insulation foam. We took the head off and attached it to a straight branch from the yard. The fabric is very flimsy and ripped while taking it out of the box, so we had to sew the skirt it back together. Sand bag for the base is necessary if it will be touched at all. I do recommend this to anyone that wants to put a little effort into making it last longer than 1 season.

About Me Midrange Shopper
Fantastic witch really nice design with the clothing built well and strong, not cheaply made.overall fantastic the base is also wooden and when you buy this prop,it's more of a show prop than animated it says probably 5 sayings no animation except the eyes light up but still the costume, design, durability, and value is what gave this prop a ***** star

This was a great prop for my Halloween porch "scene". She stood in the corner of my porch, with a smoking cauldron in front of her. The kids loved it. As another reviewer said, there were strings from the "cloth" portions all over, so it took some clean up when it came out of the box. The broom is pretty hard to straighten out and the paint comes off the foam handle easily, but I had a lot of positive comments about it. She is more like a "coat tree", as she has only shoulder pads and a ring around her waist with cloth hanging off it, to make her body form. The eyes did light up and she talked when "set off" by sharp, loud noise (clapping hands or kids stomping up the stairs). I stored her in the garage for a couple days and she startled me a couple times, when I forgot she was out there.I've been wanting a witch for my porch for years and willing to overlook some of the "cons" because this witch made my porch complete!

We bought this witch 2 years ago and since then we have been fixing it. First the stand broke, so we added a metal pole to make it more stable and sturdy. This worked for awhile, but with a good wind the base ripped! Thats right the base is made out of layers of paper and after gluing the metal pole into it TWICE, the next thing to give way was the base. Now I seat here one and a half weeks before halloween trying to figure out another way to fix it to last until Nov. 1st. We spead alot of money on halloween and buget for it all year, I have no extra money or time to buy another cheaply made witch. I say buy it but only if you use it indoors and if you have money to waste.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I wanted scary when I bought this witch, when I received her she was cute! Not for me or my party.
Really like this witch
from Allen, TX
I had been shopping around for a life size animated witch when I settled on this one. I really like her colors...I wish she did more animation than just her eyes turning red when she speaks, but I do like her. When I took her out of the box, her foam nose was crushed and has remained that way...sorta adds to her creepy look I guess. She needs filling out (I used bubble wrap underneath)...otherwise she looks anorexic.

Good prop but needs TLC to get that way.

About Me Haunter
Arrived in working condition. Needs about an hour of fluffing and using a tape lint brush to remove the huge amount of lint and threads that were all over the costume and to cut off the excessive amount of hanging threads. Looks best with upper body stuffed with tissue paper. Would only use full time indoors or outdoors on a good weather day. Sound activated with a "clap" from a few feet away. Stand is typical plastic base with 3 piece metal pole.I purchased this at full price and I'd suggest waiting until you can use a 20% off coupon or get free shipping considering the time you need to spend cleaning the prop up. Overall I like the red and brown color combo of the dress, her facial expression, posable hands and she has a great witchy voice. She will work well in my entry way displayed with my halloween spell books and other witchy props.
She looks good.....but that's about it!

Although she looks pretty cool, I was very unhappy with this purchase and I am taking it back for a refund. The battery compartment was missing the cover and upon further inspection, it was missing the insides too! The top of the hat wasn't attached to the brim. There was a broken pole and the stand was broken also. It seems as if this may have been a return and just put back into inventory without a thorough check? I have quite a few of the Spirit Halloween props and have never had a problem until now.
The picture looks better
I took her out of the box, and it was downhill from there. Firstly, the battery compartment didn't have a cover...then I realized that the insides of the battery compartment were missing altogether. Her costume was fraying...which added to the effect, but the top of her hat detached from the brim. The pole to hold her up was broken. It looks to me as if she was a return and not checked out properly before she was put back into inventory. I have quite a few props from Spirit Halloween, and this is the first time I have been unsatisfied with their product.
Somewhat dissappoi ted
from Livingston, AL
The thing I don't like the most is that the lights in the eyes only blink/look scary when you push the button. I want to turn them on at nioght mannually and let them blink all night long or all day. I can replace batteries. That was a major dissappointment for me.

bought this on and another in a different color...both of the stands broke within the first week!!!! Very cheaply make!!!!
I buy tons of props as i decorate halloween year round. I made the mistake of buying this one and another in the different color. It is so flimsy and cheaply made i wouldnt have paid that price for it. I will never make another online purchase from this store again without seeing the product firsthand. save you money and take an old x mas tree stand and stick a wig and some ultra thin cloth on it and u will this item.
Nice prop easy to set up

She will be going outside with my other witches, placed around a cauldron. She is one tall witch!! The only "problem"...she doesn't respond to sounds all the time, but I was not planning on having her on anyway. Can't wait to put her out!!
She's a hoot, and perfect for decorating

This is a cool item, I painted her red beady eyes to a green and added some blue veins to her arms. She is a force to be reckoned with...LOL

We have our witch right by our front door on our covered porch, she is great. Even my little dog coming up the porch stairs is enough to activate her. Can't wait for Halloween and the trick or treaters!
