Purchase this item based on reviews. Was very disappointed when I received the costume and it didn't fit. The lower part of the costume was very tight and I couldn't even get the upper portion over my shoulders since the lower part was so tight in my crotch. I am 5'10" and 180lbs. This costume didn't fit true to size at all.

when my cousin received the costume it didn't fit. I wanted to try to return it or exchange it and the store told me I couldn't because it was after the 25th of October. so, I bought a costume that didn't fit and I couldn't return it or exchange it so my cousin could go trick or treating with his 5 yr old daughter. she was Mario and he was supposed to be Luigi. needless to say he couldn't wear it and his daughter was very disappointed. I don't think i'll be buying costumes from you anymore.

This costume worked out really well for a 4 year olds Super Mario Bros theme party. Boy was he suprise. It does come with gloves even though the "what's included states" that it doesn't. That only bothered me because if that point was correct I wouldn't have bought the extra gloves. Other than that it worked out, my husband slipped it over his clothing he had on (he got the large and is 6'1" and 130 lbs). It may have been the fact that it was a really hot day out but the costume did get toasty for him, so not sure on the breathability. Also, Spirit was selling it at the most reasonable price around :)
