We use it in our outdoor display, and it works well in the daytime with the nice detail. But at night, the lights in the eyes are fairly dim, especially when viewed from straight on (they are brighter when viewed from the side).

Plus for nightly use, batteries just don't work. I bought a power supply and wired it in to where the batteries go for continual use.

I bought this guy not having decided where I would hang it. I ended up hanging it from my front screen door and it looked and worked great.
