Comments about Spirit Halloween Light Up Skeleton Hands Pathway Markers 3 Pack - Decorations:
My husband loved these for our pathway. They go perfect for our graveyard theme. But the wire is so short that we would have to buy another 3 sets for them to go up out sidewalk. They don't really ever turn on. You have to clap really hard to make them turn on....what trick or treater will be clapping as they walk up our house. I wish they were more sensitive to sound.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Guest Services Response:Thank you for your feedback on our path markers. We are sorry to hear that your markers would not light up frequently. For additional assistance you may reach out to our live chat team. The link is located at the top of our webpage.

Doesn't light up when loud noises occur
Very disappointed that it wouldn't work. Even have it to light mode still didn't have them constantly light. The only way I could get them to light was to touch them no matter how I set the speaker part up.
Guest Services Response:We are currently looking at these pathway markers so that we can improve them for next year. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know how you felt about them, and we encourage you to reach out to us if you experience any issues with our decorations in the future, and we'll be more than happy to assist you. Thanks!

I would NOT recommend these to anyone.
I received two of these. Both arrived with two of the lights hanging out of the top of the marker, and each had one wire that had broken off which I needed to solder back on. One had a light that didn't work at all and I had to remove the bottom of the marker (where the stake goes) and repair a broken wire there. I ended up using hot-melt glue to hold the lights in better. These are VERY poorly made and extremely fragile. It would also be nice if they could be plugged in (instead of using batteries) so they could be on a timer with the rest of my Halloween lights. I would NOT recommend these to anyone who isn't good with a soldering iron.
Guest Services Response:We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about the issues you had with these pathway markers. Our Quality Control team is currently taking a look at these lights to see how we can improve upon them for next Halloween. We encourage you to reach out to Dr. Zombie and our tech team at DrZombie@spirithalloween.com with any concerns. Thanks!

One of the stakes broke just trying to get it into the ground. Eventually one of the plastic arms cracked. Very cheaply made. There's no "off" switch that I can find, so you end up having to put the batteries in at sundown each night if you want them lit up before Halloween (which I had intended, so that they would illuminate my other decorations) or wait until the night of.
Guest Services Response:Thank you for letting us know how these pathway markers worked for you. We're sorry to hear that one of the stakes broke for you. We encourage you to reach out to us via live chat with any concerns you may have before making your purchase. We appreciate your feedback!

I would buy these again
These pathway markers are great, they aren't too bright but they look great along the sidewalk. We tried them out when we got them.
Wanted to love these, but...
I got these to use to illuminate my tombstones. I had no idea that they would be 30 seconds of light. At least I can turn off the un-useful sound effects that have nothing to do with the theme of my haunt. The paint job is really bad with insufficient paint in areas that should be either candle OR skeleton arm. I am repainting them now and asking a friend to break the sensor box to allow the light to stay on all the time. The idea of these is a good one, poorly executed. I'd have been happier with an always-on option light, with no sound and a cord to plug in. These just fall very short of the concept.

I loved the idea of these from the website....however reality was less than expected...These are badly painted and when the light comes on you can see just how horrible they look...not to mention when they arrived spots of paint where already flaked off and a bulb was broken...
