Comments about Spirit Latex Bat:
This was simply a nice bat decoration that we added to our "bat corner". We thought it was going to be a bit bigger, but it fit in with what we already had nicely.

I like this bat and it is a bit different and that is what makes it that much better.
Great Bat for Indoor Decorating
from Upper Midwest
While searching for some sleeping bat props within the size range of actual North American bats, I came across this. It's not in sleep posture, but it's a good prop. It's a reasonable size for indoor use, and would also be good outdoors in a spot where it would be viewed close up - on a porch for example. The latex seems thick enough that it should be durable. It's sufficiently creepy-looking, and more realisticly detailed than most bat props. A hanging cord makes it easy to mount on a door or window frame, wall, ceiling, just about wherever you might reasonably want it.

Much Smaller Than Expected
The bat is really nice looking, but for the cost I was expecting something much larger. And I did check the listing before ordering but couldn't find dimensions. I suppose technically it's the size of an actual bat, but that's not what I'm interested in for a Halloween decoration. Even at the sale price I feel a bit cheated, because he isn't even close to the size of all the other bats I've purchased from here and will be hard to see once he's hung from the ceiling among the rest of the props. If you want something that looks very nice and will be used as part of a display that's more at eye level then it will work for that. I'm thinking of doing something like hanging him from the bathroom mirror instead of with the rest of the bat family on the front porch to get the best out of him.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
