About Me Scary Trick Or Treating
Comments about Spirit Jumping Zombie Animated Decoration:
This is the best thing we've bought from Spirit so far. We've had it for 3 Halloweens now and it still works great. We use it close to the porch where the kids get the candy and use the footpad for best timing. It works well in a flower bed, cemetery scene, or pretty well anywhere. I love that it's battery operated so don't have to worry about cords. Very easy to assemble. Only cons I can think of are a slight delay in sound after it starts to jump and part of the head was smushed in (maybe supposed to be that way). It will inch forward throughout the night so either move it back, weigh it down, or the like. Well worth the money in my opinion. Tip: I told a friend who brought her son that it wasn't working and the eyes were supposed to light up, asked if she could check if they were lit up and when she bent down to look I hit the footpad. That usually works well.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Used the jumping zombie out on front lawn for trick or treaters and got great results in scaring people! Good times.

The product worked great, I mounted it on a piece of painted plywood for better stablility, the AC adapter and foot pad had to be purchased seperatly.Besides the fact that the using the foot pad didn't over ride the sound activated feature and it would activate when you didn't want it too but all in all it was a big hit, it put the trick back in trick or treat..

Doesn't work. Very poor design. I had to constantly readjust the cloth. Then it would only work if I tapped the head. The online video is very misleading. Don't waste your money or time.

A power plug should come with the unit. The light up eyes only work on foot pedal mode.
Good quality props for the price

The products at Spirit Halloween stores are great. I have spent almost 2000.00 there over the last couple of years both in store and online. When you order them online, They arrive when they say they will or earlier. For the price of their stuff, they are great products. I will be spending a lot more in the next few years to get my Haunted home ready.

This is a great startle prop. We attached it to a 4 ft pillar covered with scene setters and put black PVC "bars" around him. He jumps quickly and generates plenty of screams from the trick or treaters. Good Prop.

The Best to Scare TOTs
About Me Adventurous, Classic
We dressed him in convict duds and put him behind bars at eye level. He stops right at the bars, but the TOTs are in for a big surprise. :)
Cheaply Made, Overpriced
from Dallas, TX
Used it in my yard haunt last year, took out batteries and packed it away. Took it out this year and it does not work - cheap plastic gears are stripped. Not worth half the price I paid.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Each year we have a HUGE Halloween gathering at our house. I purchased this item to add to our already amazing display($6000+ worth). The gathering lasts about 2 & a half hours. This prop lasted about 45 minutes and quiet making sound and would only jump if you tapped it on the head. It was cool for the 45 minutes but for the price I was hoping to be able to use it for a few years. I guess that's not going to happen.

This prop is going to work great for Halloween. It does have a slight sound delay in the launch but it still works out. I did have a missing part but Spirit is shipping the part. Overall it is awesome because it jumps out at you and it would scare the whits out of people in the dark with surrounding fog. The prop is leveled enough to where I can hide it behind a tombstone for Halloween this year and the step pad makes it gratifying. This prop is worth it. Just make sure to take good care of it to get your moneys worth.
Not as good as I thought

Got for our haunted house thought it would be great set it up and it really needs anchored down It is a bit flimsy for the price. Eyes and sound do not go off with each jump. Really sorry I first rated this higher. WOULD NOT recommend and would not buy again A total waste of money, my bad

THIS GUY IS AWESOME!!! GREAT PROP!!

I put this on my front porch last year to scare Trick or Treaters. The sensor in this guy is PERFECT! REALLY scares people!! WAY better than the spider or any other "jumping out" prop. Love it!!
Everybody jumps with this prop
from Mechanicsville, VA
Great prop for trick-or-treaters or a haunted house / yard. Works like the notorious jumping spider, but the big glowing eyes add to the effect. I do recommend using the foot pedal activation - that is startling enough! The base is weighted with a sand bag which reduces the need for supplemental anchoring. Nicely interactive.
Worst Prop Ever
By The Scare Factor
The jumping zombie is practically the worst prop ever. My family went to go pick it up, after taking it home and assembeling it... we found out that it didn't work. I would not recommend this prop to anyone.

Excellent startle scare prop
from New York
About Me High-end shopper
Prop works perfectly. Audio and jumping action are perfectly matched. Tekky has improved the wire connectors on this prop and I hope they do it for all of them- a much needed and appreciated upgrade. Also improved is the locking mechanism. It's a nice easy pull lock that you don't have to struggle with when assembling and disassembling the head on the pole. I still think power adapaters should be included for all tekky props. But this is that perfect startle prop you've been looking for- worth the bucks.

This prop is the perfect spin-off of the Jumping Spider. He was easy to assemble, and looks very real. The jumping action is powerful, and even his hair flies all over the place when he goes shooting through the air. Note that he comes with a sandbag to weigh the mechanism down, but the prop still manages to inch forward. You may need to secure him even more. He jumps to about two feet and the eyes are a horrifying white color. The only fault I have with him (and it's not a big problem) is that the sound byte lags behind the jumping action. In demonstration videos, the sound triggers simultaneously with the jump. That is not the case, as the sound comes after he has already jumped. The bottom line is he will look great in a graveyard scene under blue and red lights. He is sure to scare the trick-or-treaters this year; well worth the price paid. Buy him now to frighten people and pets!
