No assembly required, just replace the Demo Batteries with new Alkaline Batteries (Three AA, not included.). Basically, an undead apparition appears amongst the Urn with two phrases that are pretty lame, but one of the phrases is pretty good. The Voice Acting is so bad it's laughable. The Urn's Three-Way On/Off/Try-Me Switch is a bit stiff and hard to get to; you have to put a bit of force to switch the item to On or Try-Me, and to get it in the Off Position, you have to slowly guide it and test to see if it is actually saving Batteries; in other words, the Urn not responding to a Push-Button, Motion/Light or Sound.

Despite the laughable voice-acting, the animation is cool.

The urn reminded me of the Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom. Cute, unique novelty piece, great for Halloween decorating. Also purchased the pet urn to go with this item.

People love this one. Great 'projected from behind' image on to the back of the front face. Great audio voice. Very good actuation sensor. I use the four tie down points for the original packaging to use butcher twine to tie this atop my 1/2 high posts running up my front porch stairs. Anyone walking by to collect candy walks by this and away he goes! Love this one. I DO wish that the on/off switch was on the lower back edge and not on the bottom, because of how I use it, so I could turn this on an off anytime, and not just before I tie it in place.

Used it in graveyard 2nd year in row. Cool prop but when in sensor mode, it works best in well-lit areas or indoors in order to have sensor go off when people walk by this prop.

The Huanted Ash Urn is great! It's voice is clear and creepy. Scared my guests as it looks unassuming until they come near - then it comes alive!

Took it to a girls Birthday/Halloween celebration in Myrtle Beach, SC. Had so much fun with this prop! Even scared the Maid!! My prop was the best. Everyone there love this product!!

Taking it to Myrtle Beach, SC for a wild Girls Birthdays/Halloween party vacation! Small enough
to put in the trunk of the van. Everyone is bringing a decoration and mine will be the most popular and best! Not cheezy looking. Thought it would have a mesh front and the hologram would come thru, making it fragile. But it's very solid and the face comes thru and disappears! making it very durable. Sound is excellent! This is a keeper and a winner in my books!

This urn is AWESOME!!! When it's not on it's almost impossible to tell which side will have the face on it! It looks super real! When it does turn on the things it says is hysterical, sound is awesome and image is clear. We bought 4 different animatronics for our costume wedding in a few weeks to put in each bathroom at the venue to entertain our guests. I think this one is going to be a favorite of most! Awesome design and well made for the price!

It isn't Halloween yet, but we personally enjoyed our preview of the Urn. The voice recording says three things and they are properly spooky in tone and sentiment.

The visual is OK, but is not as three dimensional as we would like. Can't wait to try it on Halloween.

I am going to really enjoy this in my "haunted house" come this Halloween. I really like the way the lips move on the image when activated. The sound is clear and crisp.

I have now ownded this prop for 4 years and it is still a hit at my Halloween parties and home haunt. This is truly a must have item and the price can't be beat. It is a very good size, looks great, and has great detail. The face is realistic and the sound is great. Great to put in a corner as added detail or even highlight it as a focal point. Adding dark "freaky fabric" and/or spider webs really enhances and completes the look.

As you know it's not Halloween yet but what I've seen of this purchase it will make a smash.I love it when I purchased the urn I didn't realize it had more sayings than the one on display video which makes it great just what I was looking for.
