gothic mansion wall
Comments about Spirit Halloween Gothic Mansion Wall Décor - Decorations:
I'm giving this 3 stars because it doesn't cover as much space as other scene setters do. I will say it looked fantastic tho. Another thing is that it doesn't line up very well. But it does look good.

Good but had some errors
Although it went up really easily when using putty tacks, there was a slight manufacturing error. The top roll seemed to have been made a few pixels larger than the bottom, because the pillars didn't line up properly.
Exactly what it said it was!
Love it! Cannot wait to cover the walls!!

About Me Budget Shopper
I used the Gothic Mansion Wall Decor for my haunted house. Everybody loved it. It is made of a thin plastic. So I put a fake paper wall on the other side to make it more durable.

Huge, but needs some extra work

This banner comes in multiple sheets. The alignment is slightly off between the upper and lower wallpaper sheets so you have to carefully position them so the columns line up before taping them together. The hallway and steps is another 3 sheets that I carefully cut out and attached, then the framed picture are two more large sheets. I cut out the pictures individually so I could place them elsewhere in my house. They look great as regular wall decor!I found that transparent tape and packing tape were not strong enough to hold the weight of the entire 8' x 12' banner on my living room wall so I applied packing tape to the upper corners for durability then added small metal grommets so I could pin the whole banner up without falling under its own weight. The size really is imposing and this thing can be reused again in multiple years if you handle it delicately. I bought it last year in November when it was half off! Not a bad deal at all.

Tried to use professional gaff tape because it would not hurt the wall and it tore the plastic. I then tried to use adhesive dots, I don't recommend that either. Good ole fashioned clear Scotch tape is what I wound up using. So far it is holding. Everyone that has seen it is very impressed. Glad I purchased. Like other reviews, the columns don't line up, but my wall is a little shorter so I could make them line up. Thank you, Spirit!!

Must Have for Halloween

About Me High-end Shopper
I meant to do a review on this last year but forgot. My 14 year old daughter wanted to have a Halloween party her freshman year of high school and since no one else had one, we happily volunteered. I bought two full rolls of the Gothic Mansion Scene Setters plus the add ons and I turned our dining room into a very realistic Gothic Mansion. I went above and beyond by adding cobwebs on the windows and draped black cheese cloth in different areas. I added strobe and LED lighting and several props all over the room. I took glow in the dark spray paint and sprayed sayings on the walls and on the eyes of the portraits which looked spectacular. This room was used as the dance floor and kids were lining up just to take selfies and group pictures because it looked so amazing. I love Halloween and we go all out and EVERYONE could not believe how incredible it looked. I very carefully took it all done and I'm reusing it for this year.

I would buy again even with its defect.

I used this in my oversized foyer opposite a mirrored wall (great effect!) My only complaint is that the manufacturer did not align the top and bottom pieces correctly when cutting. You have about a 6-8 inches of unusable area on each side so you have to cut the areas off that don't meet if you want the columns to line up correctly (which I did). Other than that, I liked it and my daughter (8yrs) loved it for her Monster Ball Birthday Party at home. You have the choice of using the framed photos or not and the part with the hallway we used on another wall for a great illusion. I would definitely purchase again even though I would need to cut the sides again.

These wall covers completely transformed my office for our work party. However the top wall and bottom wall didn't line up. Tops of the pillars were offset 1-2 inches in places and looked odd.
Gives Spooky to my Halloween

Every year I set up a room with a halloween theme for my parties and this years by far looks the best. This wall art definetly gives the room a delapidated haunted look to it and for the price it can't be beat. It is easy to hang and the cost is so low that if it gets damaged, it can be easily replaced without breaking the bank.
