I was really glad I got this set and another one because the first set I tried, I attempted to put it over white face makeup. It would not stick at all! Luckily, I'm pale! so I washed all of my other makeup off and used these on my bare face and they worked pretty well! the only part I had trouble with was the eye rings, because my face isn't flat like a piece of paper (who would have imagined that?) I actually ended up using a cotton swab to put some dabs of white glue (think elmers) and sticking the rings to that, and it worked great! be very careful peeling the pieces off, they rip easily (if they were thinker they wouldn't comform to your face, so it's not a bad thing, just give yourself plenty of time! Overall, I loved it and got a lot of complements on it! once I got the eyes figured out, the rest was easy peasy, and they never came off :)
