Comments about Spirit Floating Ghost Lawn Stake:
The stake comes in 3 pieces and it doesn't stay connected. First the hand is connected to stake the chest that floats from the hand is too heavy and it just hangs down , not float, and last is the head which velcrow to the chest that doesn't stay on the chest which hangs down and not float . bottom line great concept ,but not made well enough to work.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This lawn decoration looks awesome online but is cheap and looks it in real life. Not worth the money; in fact it literally came apart while I was assembling it. I doubt it would have lasted to see a second Halloween if it hadn't.

This item give a great effect. We lost one in a flood in 2006 so it was wonderful to have a replacement. We did have to do a simple repair after some wind did some damage. One piece is held into place with some velcro. The velcro tab is glued into place in one spot where it is attached to nylon fabric. To do the repair we simply pressed it back into place and secured it using a good quality desk stapler. After that, it stood up to all the wind had to offer -- we did keep it sheltered behind a tree trunk to protect it. So the upwind tree helped keep it safe, too.

Cheesier looking than I thought.
Looks really cheesy, but works quite well placed in a window with a light underneath it.

The Floating Ghost Lawn Stake did not even make it till Halloween at my home. I installed it on the front lawn in early October. It was too fragile for outside use. The wind buffeted it and tore it up. The problem is that the piece only looks acceptabel froma distance. If used indoors, its look will fail to impress from close up. Since the piece is on a plastic stake, using inside would call for the use of a base.
