got the costume to go trick or treating with my son i ordered a 2xL but they sent a 1xL because its not the size i asked for its tight on the arms tummy and chest if i hadnt of had a son it would fit perfectly because i can still squeese into it and because halloween is only about a week away i dont want to risk sending it back for the right size and end up not having a costume its good enough for this once ive gotten costumes from them before and they were perfect which is another reason im letting the mess up go but in the future if they send the wrong size or dont get the order right im returning it for a full refund.

Over head to put on, fine. Further, no go, by any means. Runs WAYYYYYY SMALL! Your sizing is obviously not U.S.-based. Please add gigantic sizes or use U.S. size descrip-tions for U.S. customers.
I notice some other customers complaining of length. I LOVE the length because I am tall. You can't add material but you can HEM things and/or wear heels, so please don't change the lengths. It seems normal to me anyway.

I ordered the costume and thinking it would fit because it had the same measurements as my other dresses I ordered it. Well it did not fit my chest area. I tried to exchange it at the store and they did not have anything that would fit my chest area. I ended up going to three different stores and nothing. So I was given my money back, but I was not able to get my shipping cost back (which I find it to be wrong, but I guess that is how the company is.)

I will not use this as it fits way small. Will have to give it away as My shoulders will never shrink I would say Almost 2 sizes smaller than it states

I loves the outfit that I ordered for Halloween. My only problem with it was that it didn't fit. I would love to purchase more outfits from you but could you please get the bigger than 2X.

I loved the fit and received many compliments. Only thing was that I had to use clothing tape in order to control the inside edges of the dress that hung outside the dress on the top. I don't know if it was due to my chest size (large).

I wore this as a Halloween costume. After reading all the reviews, I ordered a 2x although I'm a solid size 14 and have been for a while. This size fit from the waist down, but the chest was very tight. I'm not sure which country the sizing is based on, but it surely is not USA sizing. It would also be nice to adjust the height on these costumes since I am short and almost tripped over skirt several times

I read the reviews and checked the size chart before I ordered this item. When I received it, I noticed the tag in the neckline said 2XL (16-18). The size chart says 1XL is 16-18! Since when is a 2XL a 16-18? Anyway, too tight across the top! Sending it back!

I bought the size I was supposed to fit in according to measurements, which is also the size I normally wear, and there was NO WAY it was going to fit...wow! Took it back to the store the day it was delivered. Last time I buy a costume online. It was also much more flowing than I thought, sleeves were extremely long and looked like they may get in the way, as well as skirt, would've had to wear high heels with it.

This costume was just what I needed to stay in my comfort zone as a plus sizer. Easy to get on and off, very adjustable as far as the ties and waist. The fabric IS thin, so a few things to consider... shape-forming undergarments if you have any unsightly bulges you want to hide, and a very good bra, as anyone with a large bust will have a challenge reigning them in. And if it's cold wear you live, you' want tights under.

It's a great dress, glad I found it!!1

Purchased this product for a Halloween party. Many compliments received!
However, I am only 5'2", and found it a bit too long. The tailor/seamstress had a very difficult time to hem this costume.

Okay I am going to be honest here. It says the 2x size fits up to 190 pounds. I weigh 187, and am 5'4. My chest is 38 DDD. It fit around the chest but was tight around my stomach and the arms were tight at the top and above the elbows. No way is this a size 2x. The pants I wear to work are a 12 stretch and the shirts I wear are size large. So I returned the 2x and got it in a 3x and it fit much better. I will have to hem it on the bottom though, it is a bit too long for me. The material is light and comfortable and I love the colors.

I absolutely LOVED this costume, especially the hood and the way it draped. The front panel is hot lookin' too. However, the sizes run very small. I WISH Spirit would make the costumes 1 or 2 sizes bigger. Not everyone is small. Your costumes are GREAT!!!....just please make them in bigger sizes. You'd gain more business, guaranteed! This is a very comfortable and very stylish costume at a great fit! I'm a dress size 12-14 but went up to the 1x and it fit perfectly. Remember to go one size up and you'll be very happy with this costume!

I bought this as a gift for my friend. She wore the costume all day on Halloween.
The costume was well made and pretty comfortable. The only problem was that the size ran a bit small. I got her a 2x based on the size chart (she usually takes an XL) and it was snug. So when ordering be careful of the sizing. Otherwise, a good buy for the money.

While I really like the design, IT RUNS EXTREMELY SMALL! According to the package, but not listed online, a 2X = size 16, and a 3X = size 18. I had read the reviews that said it ran small so I ordered a size larger than usual, but this is ridiculous. When I tried to return it to the store (Totem Lake WA), they wouldn't take it back on 10/23. Nothing was said online about such an early return cutoff. Now I am stuck with a costume that doesn't fit with no reoourse. I won't be shopping at Spirit again.

This costume was really cute and would look adorable on a short person. It would make a great princess, vampire or witch costume. Unfortunately it does not fit anyone who is busty and the plus size costume is not sized correctly and won't fit a plus sized 16 or larger. I'm 5'6" and the dress came to my shins, not the pictured floor length. I returned this item.

I had read that this ran small so I bought the xxxl. Let me just say I'm a regular size 16/18 and the xxl would've fit just fine. However, being 5'3 the xxxl just touches the floor and is the perfect length so this may not be the best costume for tall people. Really comfy and stretchy, the strings in the middle adjust a bit to shrink the waist if, like me, you bought one that's a little too big. Typical cheapy costume material doesn't feel great on your skin, but you get what you pay for and really I think for such a cool looking costume it's a bargain.
