Great costume for the price and look

Comments about Spirit Halloween Adult Knight in Shining Armor Costume - Theatrical:
The costume was a big hit but me being over 6 feet tall the costume was to short in the torso area. I pieced out the costume and wore the arms, and leg armor with another knight costume I had purchased. It was worth the price and would recommend this to anyone under 6 feet tall.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

You need a squire to help put this on!
from Wilmington, DE
About Me Adventurous, Bargain Shopper
There are several imporant things to note about this costume:1) This is difficult to put on. If putting on two dozen pieces of velcro-connected plastic is this challenging, I can only imagine what putting on real plate mail must be like. You need a squire - friend or significant other - to help put this on you. There will be several connections that you cannot make yourself since you'll lose mobility in the suit. And yes, I'm told that this is entertaining to put on, but it really helps if that squire is not laughing so hard that they can't help you.2) I'm ~6 ft tall and ~140 pounds. This suit did not fit me well. The breastplates were quite large on me, as were the arm and leg armor. The base of the helmet was about two inches above the shoulder plates; the helmet and the shoulder plates should be touching. My best guess is that this costume is best for someone ~5'6" to ~5'10" and ~160 to ~200 pounds.3) Construction is all plastic, and pretty much every piece is an independent plastic plate. By my count there are 24 pieces (including four for the helmet). The leg and arm plates have elastic bands and most of the rest connect to each other by velco spots and tabs. It's plastic, so I wouldn't go out expecting this to stop an assault, but the plastic, in general, feels like decent quality. The only piece I was concerned about was one of the helmet sections that was thin enough to be approaching transparent. The plastic, though, was still relatively sturdy, and it's possible that it was just a fluke in the production of my suit.4) Color is more of a bright gray rather than a silver. If you want something that looks chromed, go elsewhere (or buy this suit and a couple cans of silver spraypaint).5) It's hard to walk with this on. You sort of clomp around zombie-like. And not 28 Days Later kind of zombie. Plan on standing a lot; I'm not sure how one sits with this on. I suspect some bits - like the large hip plates - would pop off.All of that said, this is still a pretty cool costume. It's challenging and cumbersome, but does have a very good look and a significant presense.I bought this because I thought it would be impressive. I was not disappointed in that regard. In the end I ended up returning mine due primarily to the sizing issue and the mobility issue.

About Me Trendy
This costume looked amazing on. That's after I finally gotIt on... It's made out of a lightweight plastic and are stuck together by velcrow. Some of the velcrow were missing when we got the costume.. It looks extremely real in pictures. Its not that easy to move in and I just wish that it fastened together some other more reliable way. Dance in it and the whole thing will fall off. Overall it looked great and I had the best costume I saw at every Halloween party.

Gave it to my brother for his halloween costume this upcoming yearhe thought it was incredible! The way it all sort of hooks together using velcro is quite ingenious... and the end result looks pretty realistic when all the velcro ends up being covered. Phenomenal.A bit on the pricey side for a costume but completely well worth it!!!
Worth the price

The helmet was irregularly shaped. Simply needed to add extra Velcro patches to the helmet in certain spots to maintain its correct shape. The Velcro also helped keep the two face pieces stay in place, and keep their shape. Without the extra Velcro the costume would have not looked as convincing. Other than that, the costume was great as I used it for a costume for several purposes, especially Halloween!
