Comments about Spirit Halloween Adult Creepy Black Spider Costume:
Store bought costumes are rarely good but this is the worst. The legs on the head piece do not stand up at all, the legs attached to the arms are hollow as they near the body, even with your arms spread they don't stand out. It looks like a black cow costume with droopy black udders. Definitely not worth the price.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

A cute costume but $$$ for what you get.
Ran large for most people under 5'4" and the arms are only held up by a flimsy plastic clear wire.

I would recommend this costume.
Great costume but had to add another row of fishing line to spider arms so they would move properly and pillows to spider body. Quick fix!

About Me Conservative
I love this kind of costume, but unfortunately the quality is not quite there. The fishing line that holds the arms up pulls out quite easily, and there is only one line so that the arms are too floppy. I fixed this by totally redoing the fishing line so it won't pull out, and adding a second line. This worked well and had the desired effect. The antennae don't stick up very well, and the wire inside of them was sticking me in the head. Those I had to re-do as well. The abdomen of the spider is also kind of flat, so I filled it with some styrofoam to prop it up a bit. Finally, so the costume had a little color and flair, I put a red hourglass on the abdomen using red duct tape, to simulate a Black Widow. Finally, now it's a great costume.I'm glad I got it, but for the price I'd like more quality. In the end, though, after some work it's one I enjoy wearing for greeting the Halloween trick-or-treaters.
