Extremely Cheap, Don't Waste Your Money

Comments about Spirit Halloween 5' Standing Reaper God of Death:
At first when I learned that the moans on him are just recycled from other props it was a slight letdown, but then I got him in the mail and his quality is a massive letdown. Everything is cheaply and messily thrown together. There are huge globs of extra dried glue in several places, particularly his eyeballs, speaking of which one popped out after minimal use. It's literallly just a head with a bunch of robes draped over and they fall to the ground flatly and awkwardly. The stand is flimsy. The try me button doesn't work and to turn him on and off while he is assembled is beyond a hassle. You have to like stick your head way up his robes and reach around blindly for a tiny switch. Zero instructions came wth it. Trust me when I say that you do not want to buy this thing. Was my first real Halloween prop purchase and I have learned my lesson to wait for positive reviews from now on.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Poor quality don't waste your time

After viewing the video I was very excited to get this product in the mail. The pictures and video make this thing seem a great buy especially for the price. Unfortunately it was a huge let down. Before I review the poor quality, I'd like to mention that it was shipped in the box it comes in, no outter packaging whatsoever. My package was damaged but that is not why I'm writing a bad review. It is a very simple construction, a stand with a head essentially and a lot of fabric. Mine came packed so tightly in the box that the neck and head were bent and damaged. What appears to be some kind of accents in the pictures are actually very poorly applied splotches of white paint that in the pictures appear to be on the robe but in reality it's all over the "skeleton" portions including on the eyes, yes they put paint marks on the eyes. The eyes themselves are hot glued into the skull very sloppily the one eye has several strands of yarn actually glued into the eye socket and hanging out. The skull chest and hands are very cheap looking with large seems similar to something you might see at a dollar store. It came with no instructions of any kind. The base and "body," which is actually three pieces a tubing held together with fittings, are very simple to assemble. Getting the head on with the absurdly huge robe is a different story. The try me button didn't work and I have no idea where the batteries go. I gave up relatively quickly when I realized how cheesy it looked. Overall the entire product seemed to have some kind of residue on it especially on the fabric portions making it seem grimy and not in a good way.I would never recommend anyone buy this thing. I'm hoping my return experience is pleasant.
