I was hesitant about this shoe because i've never worn shoes this high. When I got them, I was surprised to find they were very easy to walk in even though i've never worn shoes like this before. The problem with them is that my feet are a bit wider then normal so they become painful after a while. I have been wearing them every so often just to try and stretch them out a little and it appears to be working quite well. If you have thin feet, these should be perfect. If your feet are a bit wider, you may need to stretch them out a bit to get used to them before wearing them to a party but they do stretch and become more comfortable. It is only painful around the toes and the shoes are strapped securely to your feet. Overall, I'm quite happy with them and am determined to stretch them out a bit more.
