I had bought the item hoping that it would change my voice to sound different. It worked, but not very well. The only way it worked was for the mic to be right in front of the mouth and not on a collar of your shirt. Meaning it didn't work at all if any further than your mouth. Second, the sound of the difference voice was there, but my original voice could still be heard. Really not what I was expecting when you think of voice changer.

I have definitely had better ones in the past but this one is still fun and priced to be affordable.Only problem I think it has is that the mic pickup needs to be more sensitive because you either have to talk loud or hold it right in front of your mouth to activate it.

OMG, I was ready to use this to scare the kids and I feel as if I wasted my money again! The mic will not work unless you have it right on your lips, otherwise it will not pick up your voice. Also, not loud enough.

I plan to use as part of a prank, but without a costume, which makes it a little difficult to work with. But if you plan on full face costume, this is perfect!

I was really looking forward to this item. The last time i bought a voice changer was easily 15 years ago for about 5 dollars. It was an amazing device about the same size with only 4 sounds.. but it was CLEAR and easy to use. This item is very very static'y, you would have to tape it to your lips to make it work properly and even then its distorted and horrible sounding.

I was very surprised and disappointed that this item was soo bad considering the one 15 years ago was lightyears ahead of this (and cheaper).

DONT BUY THIS ITEM! Look elsewhere! You have been warned!

It actually is a pretty good product, despite other buyer's reviews. It is very big, and the voice can be low or high..I actually like it. I tested every voice and it was very fun!

This is very ineffective. I realize it was cheap but I'd rather pay more for something that works. I am surprised Spirit would sell this. I like most of their products.

Unfortunately, I can't really say anything good about this. The voice changer is weak. I had to put the microphone close to my mouth to get it to respond. Even then it needs for you to speak rather loudly. The result is everyone hearing my regular voice with some crackly distortion accompanying it from the little speaker. I took the thing apart in hopes of tweaking it to work better, but found wires poorly soldered or just spliced. Overall it was totally not worth it.
