Great if used as a surprise like in alcove or around a corner in a darkened area. definitely visible when it goes off and you get over the shock

If you buy this and it doesn't work, don't panic! Check all the wiring connections. Unhook each plastic connection and plug it back in. When I received mine the head did not move side to side. All I had to do was check the connections. It works like a charm! I don't have an insane asylum theme but I had to buy him.

This prop cannot get any better! As soon as I went into the store the first day it opened, I knew I had to have it. I actually just got it today: Christmas, as a gift, with the Jumping Spider, Grave Mourner, and a leftover Life Sentence. I like him best outta all my big Spirit display props. He gives you chills and I can't wait for tourists to come next October for the display with all these really cool new props I got this Christmas. I would give this five stars, as I did, because, well, it just can't get better!

used it in our diner, kids loved it, need to stuff the body so its fuller, we added a little red to the eyes. good price

I love this prop. It's just a well done animatronic. There's nothing to do but plug him in and off he goes. I got a power adapter and a foot pad and he works well, but he also works well for motion sensing. Point a low watt colored party bulb at him and when you walk by he'll start up chatting his five different sayings. NOTE-- This prop really isn't meant to be hung. It has a wire in the back for hanging but this is NOT the way the prop should be hung. Under the module in the back there is a pole socket to properly display this prop. A perfect pole to use is a microphone stand. Then you can adjust the height as well. Using a microphone stand in the pole socket allows this prop to properly stand up the way it should, which makes the head animation work better and will help the prop last a long time. Be aware- putting this prop on a pole is how it's really meant to be hung. Love old gramps!

It will look great in my execution room. Hanging on the wall watching the guy get electrocuted also using the electrocution box from spirit Halloween. Cloths on both are similar and look great together. I also like that it is life sized.

This is a lifesize prop with good detail. Super easy to setup- just pop in batteries or power adapter and hang him. Power adapter isn't included though. Tekky should include power adapters with all their props, imo. He has five sayings and they are all good. One of them he laughs himself into chocking- actually a funny one. Good volume. The head having movement with glowing eyes and mouth movement makes this a special greeter. I needed a unique greeter at the front door and this is the best one you're find. Every bit like a real old man hanging. Creepy great!

This is a great prop, but please beware, this prop is not necessarily the most gory or haunting in the face, but is an excellent greeter for your haunt as an opener.
