This is an amazing prop and I am very happy with this purchase! John is very very creepy! He looked so great in our haunted house in our morgue scene! THIS WAS A GREAT BUY FOR MY HOME WE SET UP EVERY YEAR WITH SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THIS WAS GREAT WE HAVE TWO GRIM REAPERS HOLDING THE BOOK OF THE DEAD AND THIS PROP WILL GO IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM IT SCARED BY HUSBAND AND HIS DAD THEY THOUGHT IT WAS VERY CREEPY.

Without the problems of the fragile base and inconsistent sensor it's a great product - creepy and cool. The base needs to be a let more stable, it only works if weighted down.

I bought this item to display at my Halloween party. It is cool! However, I do not like the blood splattering on the head. I would prefer an all white John Doe. It would be more true to life without the blood. It is, however, an added addition to my Halloween decor. I love the breathing sounds!

When I purchased this at a spirit store a few days ago, I was stunned! This an amazing prop! It really looks like a person under the sheet! It would be nice if there was a little more blood by the head. He funtions and sounds exactly like the video and the breathing is so clear!! I also purchased the foot pad for it and it works great! The batteries last a long time! I use him in our mad scientists lab scene. He is laying on a table by our skeleton scientist. Overall a great Purchase! Get one before they run out!!!!!

Wow, this is a fantastic prop! I bought mine at a spirit store so I could see it in action. It works great!! It looks like a real person under the sheet and the breathing is so clear!!! It takes about five minutes to assemble and is very durable. He will look great in our haunted house!! Go Spirit!!

im using this for one of my many scences in my warehouse of horror! its a great fitting for a butcher shop scene and everyone that gone through it was a lil disturbed by this but its all worth it!

When I first saw this rising from an autopsy table, it made my back hairs raise too! It's a Kreepy Kool prop, these will sell out quick, I love this new halloween toy!

This is a really cool effect -- but needs to be tweaked to get the bugs out. The sheet looks cheap and doesn't need the fake blood stains at all. It would be much better without. The sound is way too loud and I would prefer to have a control for it, lower, off, --- how about breathing only (no music) etc. The "legs" are completely flat, so need to be fluffed with something. Also comes in a small box that you can't use for storage.

I would say John Doe along with the jumping spider are probably the best of 2011. He is definitely worth the price, does not seem to be made cheaply and is exactly like in the video. he adds a creepy effect to the room and is a unique prop. life size props were a big let down this year but the mid range props were really stepped up.

It's actually a pretty cool item but I found it to be a bit too noisy. I got the optional food pad which I think was well worth the extra money.

Our home haunt theme this year is lab experiments gone awry and plays off monster insects, plants, animals, and zombie like characters. So this will be an unexpected scare factor along with static corpses in various stages of decay and live actor zombie creatures. We have a lead in with a simulated live news broadcast playing on a TV describing unexplained events as they happen.
