I used the ghost on my front porch, unfortunatly if it is windy it blows over easily so it needs to be stabilized to the ground. otherwise very neat item i recieved lots of compliments.

I get so many compliments on this ghost, he does however tip over so we put a brick on his base to prevent. It could have a wider base, other than that it is great.

This ghost is great. It moves back and forth from lower to higher on an angle so it apears as it is hovering and the sounds are great.

This is a great prop. I was hoping he worked well, and it does.
The best part about this prop is it does NOT rely soley on sound activation. It has a sequence mode where it performs for a minute or so, stops for two minutes, and restarts- and continues this routine full time until you turn it off. We all know sound and motion activation stinks with these props. This auto sequence mode is a home run in this prop and should be included in EVERY Spirit prop. Sound activation will still work in sequence mode too.
I am very impressed with the height and motion of the prop. This will be perfect in the gaveyard outside. It's not a wimpy looking little 20 dollar prop. It has a presence- makes a statement.
Some things to note- the wiring connections are delicate. Use care when making connections. Make sure the wiring connector at the base has some slack because the arm movement will pull it out if you're not careful. Keep the plastic bag protection ON the arm wire. It does not hamper movement and it keeps the wire from getting kinked. There are plastic zip ties in spots. These can very carefully be removed, but I found keeping them on did not hamper movement.
This prop can be driven with a universal power adapter, but it absolutely performs better and has more rapid movement with batteries.
It's a delicate prop that needs care when setting up, and care when packing away. But the program sequence is a GREAT concept and like I said, ALL SPIRIT props should include this timing sequence.
I'm tough to please and although the wiring connectors quality could be greatly improved, this automated ghost really impresses me. Highly recommend.

I had read the reviews, so decided to buy this. It is pretty cool. On mine, the arms and the head go the opposite direction, and the hands are sewn onto the fabric, so I can't really do much but put the arms straight out. But, it is a cool prop and it moves well, and should provide a scare or two. Even my husband liked it.

I purchased this item for my boyfriend of 12 years, who is a complete FANATIC for halloween stuff; his room in our basement is full of masks, lights, sounds and now a hovering ghost. My only complaint (he loves it!) is that the fabric used is so lightweight and flimsy, I'd prefer a thicker material was used[...] It moves really cool and sounds great...a good purchase, and with the coupon, an awesome deal:)

This guy certainly isn't scary, but the movement is so unique, and the sounds he makes are great. Others have complained that the eyes are too bright, but for my purposes (a dark corner) they're perfect. I watch it go through its routine over and over again, and continue to get a kick out of it.

I was blown away at the simplicity of this guy. You have to see it! This is one of the best ideas they've come up with in a LONG time! Add a black light and it will blow you away!

This is such a cool ghost. We have it outside rising above our tombstones in our graveyard. We bring him in at night so he is not out in bad weather. We had to put a board underneath him because being on the grass, it was too uneven and he would fall over. Needs to be on a flat surface to work properly, but we solved the problem by doing that. Definately would recommend this product and I hope he lasts for years to come.

I like this ghost, I just wish he had a volume control or a sound shut off (gets a little loud and obnoxious at times) . But other than that he's pretty cool for the $. Just make sure you give him a little space to do his thing

Worth the money! It goes up and down, and sways in all directions, all at the same time. The swaying motion is great, because it is not the same pattern of motion like other props that only go up and down or side to side. It appears to be a more random motion. Really a spooky effect - looks like a real ghost would act! The flashing eyes are bright - would be nice to have the option to specify green or blue eyes, as too many props already have red eyes. But it is still awesome!!!

The Animated Hovering Ghost is a cool decoration. It is very light-weight and was simple to assemble. When the unit runs through a cycle, it rises to about 40", it sways back and forth within a radius of about 4 feet, the eyes shine a bright red, it moans deep and low and cackles maniacally, then it lowers to about a foot and a half in height at rest. The unit is in motion for about 30 seconds each time it runs a cycle. The arms are poseable and it comes with plenty of silky white cloth. The poseable arms allow a variance in width of 17" to 30" depending on if they are posed as pictured or spread wide. One negative feature is that you cannot turn off the sound and just have the ghost rise, sway, and then return to stand-by. At first I thought it might be too small, but once I saw it in action I realized that if it were any bigger it would require way too much room when in motion. I highly recommend this item!
