I love this product. I have one of the pumpkins as well. The only problem is when you go to change the batteries in it. It no longer works.I got the size recommended and put them in. They were very hot but the pumpkin wouldn't scream any more. I was very disappointed. I gave the skeletons as a funny gift so I don't know if they worked when the batteries were changed.

I placed the product in my freezer when I had guests and scared the heck out of them when they opened the door. Also placed it in my living room, forgot about it, and when I turned on the lights scared the heck out of myself and my cats!!!

This is a fantastic and fun little gadget, however, I thought I'd add a warning. It takes three cell batteries, and I wanted my screamer to scream louder, so I replaced the batteries. I wasn't really paying attention and just looked at the illustration stamped in the back of the battery compartment - and IT IS WRONG. My batteries got really hot, and if I hadn't been playing around with the screamer to find out that it wasn't working, they very well may have melted it or who knows, exploded. So DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE STAMPED BATTERY DIRECTIONS in the back, look for the positive side of your cell battery (the flat top), and make sure you put the negative side against the spring.

This little screamer is a BLAST! It has a loud and very clear scream, triggered by light. I've hidden it in medicine cabinets, sock drawers, coffee mug cabinets, the egg basket, the outside garbage can. In fact, I ordered three more! Now when someone thinks they're safe because they already got screamed at in the medicine cabinet, they're caught off guard when they go to get their coffee!

I won't be putting this away with the rest of the Halloween decorations in November. This is fun for the whole year.

I first got this for my nephew. After testing it and hiding it in various places, (in the fridge, table drawers, dresser drawers, jewelry drawers, cupboards, under a pillow, etc.), and having a blast with it, I decided to order him another one and keep one for my place! It's a lot of fun hiding it and waiting for your victim to come across it! My boyfriend never knows where it's going to turn up now. It's great!
