Overall a great prop. I love that it is motion and sound activated. Has a pretty good soundtrack too. I had no issues with the prop at all, easy to assemble. I used some velcro on the neck to the shirt because it bunched up a little bit when the neck moved. I hooked up a foot pad to Demonica, put the pad in the walkway and covered it with dirt so she starting moving way before people walked up on it. Made a kid cry = success.

I used this prop in my graveyard this last halloween, and it was a great hit. very easy to put together, but the central pole is cheap plastic, and I could see it snapping easily in a windstorm or if roughly handled. I made sure to keep it behind a barricade so that no one could touch it. if you put dirt around it, it will look as if she is rising from a grave.

WE BUILT A GRAVEYARD AND DEMONICA WAS A HIT. HAD NEIGHBORS STANDING IN OUR YARD FOR AN HOUR AFTER THE CANDY WAS GONE. COULDN'T EVEN GET BACK IN MY DRIVE WAY WHEN I LEFT TO TAKE KIDS HOME. RUDE ***** WOULDN'T EVEN WAVE THE NEXT DAY. HOPE THEY ALL ENJOYED IT.

I bought a bunch of animatronics this year, and most people commented on this one as scary or freaky.

The only problem I had was that the Try Me button that you can buy from Spirit did not work with Demonica. Minor detail.

She was perfect for our Halloween Party!! I LOVE Halloween and she is a great addition to my decorations. Her sounds and bone cracking make her so unique. Would highly recommend. She is AWESOME!!

Don't walk - RUN to buy this. It is one of the creepiest things EVER and I'm nearly half century old. She sounds like she's choking and the head moves from side to side and she flings her head back just like in the video. You do have to connect the wires in her head or she'll just rise up (which I suspect was the problem for the one reviewer) but it is very simple to do. Truly amazing prop that really revolutionizes the animatronic industry. Go online and you see some poorly designed robots for THOUSANDS of dollars that don't even LOOK as creepy as this. I put mine on a square piece of carved wooden furniture and dressed the room up like a graveyard and this will make her rise up much taller than if you put it on the ground/floor. She looks like she's (it's) climbing up out of a tomb. Spotlight her with a Spirit Green LED bulb (I know they're expensive but worth it) to wash all of the pink out of her skin. Works great with a footpad.

Will use it in a covered scene. There was no mention that the ac adaptor was included in the purchase then I wouldn't have made a seperate purchase of one. So I"m stuck with a useless ac adaptor.

This is a fantastic prop for our evergrowing halloween event. She looks very creepy as she rises from the fog. Gets alot of second looks and plenty of screams from the unexpecting kids and some adults too.

Demonica is Great! The fact that they give you the adaptor now is awesome. I set it up in minutes. I purchased the foot pad activator and it works every time. I added some cherry red paint(for Blood effect) to the teeth, mouth and chin to make it a little more scary. I set it up in my Haunted basement with a strobe light on it and it scared the kids(adults as well)!

We used this last year in a haunted house that was set up by my students as a fundraiser and then again at my house on Halloween. Students loved it as did the trick-or-treaters. We got great comments on it and a number of kids were quite scared of it.

A downside was the quality of it's construction. When we put it together, my husband had to rig up a couple pieces to hold parts of it together properly. The neck also seemed to break often and I was constantly fixing it. My students didn't touch it (it was my Halloween baby (: ), so I know it wasn't them doing anything to it. Even the night of Halloween, it kept snapping at the neck. Eventually, it stopped raising its head all the way.

Overall, though, it still does a great job and looks creepy. I had her sitting amongst tombstones so she kind of blended in. When she was activated, the glowing eyes and noises really caught people off-guard.

Bought her last night, plugged her in, and the Halloween magic of 2011 has begun. Very simple, very scary. We will be placing her in the graveyard with a dedicated blue spot light which should cast her in an eery glow!

I like this prop except the facial color whick is a bluish purple. I have to touch it up a bit so it doesn't look like it just came out of a box,well not the kind of box that is above gtound.
It will look great among the head stone in my grave yard display.

Demonica is scary ! She cracks her neck and makes creepy sounds . I think our neighbors are going to think we are sick people , that how scary she is ! Great addition to grave yard or alone . I'm also impressed with the quick delivery . Well worth the price paid .

This years demonica works better. No more chain on the back of the head. It's now a motor that makes her lean her head up and back when she rises. And the power adapter is now included- very good. However, a wire was broken off at the solder joint on mine right at the head motor and she did not look up when she rose- only side to side. I fixed it and she works fine, but it wasn't 100% working order when it arrived. It was also packed poorly. Come on Spirit, you should be packing these props better. They're delicate to begin with. All in all I am very pleased with Demonica. She's an awesome addition. Her animation is actually really creepy. Should be fun!
