Used this prop in the kitchen with all my bottles of scary stuff (roaches, gummy fingers, bat wings, zombie virus, etc.), the voice is clear and quite authentic. The sayings are wonderful and it really made the whole kitchen come to life as a witche's own kitchen might look like.

Nice appearance. However, the activation button attached by a cord is ridiculous. No one traced it down to make it work. I had 110 people at the Halloween party and absolutely no one saw the book work!! The button should be ON the front cover with directions to PUSH to activate.
If you know what to do the book opens and is really cute.

I placed this on a table blocking my hallway and placed candles that dripped red around it - every time someone went to the rest room they had to pass this it immediately made them stop watch and listen. great price

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT AND IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. WHEN THE BOOK STARTS TO OPEN IS MAKES A CREEPING NOISE BUT THEN THE WHOLE TIME IT IS SAYING THE SPELL IT MAKES SOME KIND OF GRINDING NOISE SO YOU CAN'T HEAR THE SPELL! AND THE STORE WON'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP GET IT REPLACED!!!

Was very please with overall product, nice design, phrases clear and loud enough to understand. One problem the motion sensor is on the back of book, but I would still purchase again..

From the description, I thought that there would be lighting under the Individual Letters of the incantations and the letters themselves would light up as she spoke the words. It only has a few red flashing lights under the pages. Good soundtrack, spiffy cover, activates easily, fits in well with our other haunted books.

I have this placed on my foyer table on a small inclined stand. When someone is talking nearby, the book opens up quickly and recites one of several ominous spells! On Halloween night, I'll have this setup on a small table by the sidewalk, in front of my witch and cauldron, ready to great trick or treaters!

This is one of the best Halloween props I've found. I plan to place it on a table full of lit candles with a witch standing behind and hovering over the spellbook. When someone enters the room, the book will begin to open and then the witch starts casting her spell!!! I love this prop and it is a unique addition to our haunted house!

I really like this prop, the only problem I had was it is a little cheaply made and the pages were not put on well. They are stickers and had creases, air bubbles and folds in them which took away from the overall look. I had to work on getting those out to make it look good. Other than that it got a lot of great comments at the party!!

The only problem with this book was the pages were stickers and the pages were creased making it look a bit cheap, and for the price, it should have been taken care of. But a good prop, and I can see those pages eventually coming off. I would recommend it to a friend if they fix that problem.

I found the Witch's Spell Book to be a useful addition to my Halloween props. Because of its electronic components,it has to be used indoors or in a covered area like a porch. It looks good, has good sound quality and volume, and works well, so far. A good buy.

The Book works exactly as described and is really quite a neat effect for Halloween. The sensor is appropriately placed and sensitive, so that the book opens with little motion required. The biggest problem was that the screw holding the battery pack in place was tightened such that the screw head was destroyed and the screw could not be removed with an ordinary screwdriver. Luckily, we were able to use a small enough screw driver with enough force to hold the screw, turn it and remove it without destroying the battery cover. This is the second time I have bought from Spirit On-Line and found the workmanship to be somewhat shoddy. It seems I have better luck buying merchandise at the Spirit Stores.

Saw this great book on HSN and other sites, HAD TO HAVE IT - glad I shopped around - Spirit had the best price. It's very original to say the least, my family loves it. Didn't expect it to be a hard plastic though. Great prop for the middle of the table or on the Fireplace mantle (that's where mine is)

I wanted this Spell Book since the early summer & every other web site had it expensively overpriced. When I came to this site, it had it at a very reasonable, good price. I pre-ordered it[...] IT IS BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED!!!! The sound quality is perfect & you can use both sound & motion or just motion as its activating features. There is a light on the inside of the book that must have a loose wire connection b/c it tends to flicker, but it happens, probably the manufactuer. I am still very happy w/ the product & cannot wait to show it off & scare my party guests this Halloween. THIS IS A MUST-HAVE FOR HALLOWEEN PARTIES OR HALLOWEEN LOVERS WHO LOVE THE HOLIDAY!!!! Def worth every penny!!!! I am happy w/ this site & fast, quality service & look forward to doing my business w/ Spirit Halloween!
