I used this costume which was supposed to be of theatrical quailty for a very high price. It was no better in quality than the same thing i could get from one of the spirit halloween stores in the area for probably half the cost.

This is a fantastic costume! Although it is a bit low cut for those of us who are a little on the modest side, I simply added lace around the bodice to make it a little less revealing. When I wore it to work for "costume day" I got lots of attention which was fantastic as well. :-)
It is high quality for a costume and well worth the additional expense.It is holding up very well and I plan to wear it several times.

Its a nice looking costume... it came pretty wrinkled and smelling like plastic... fabric is thinner then I excepted for "theatrical quality". but I am excieted to wear the costume to the several parties that I plan to attend

I bought this costume 3 years ago and have never regretted it. I'm a little chubby around the middle and this costume looks great! I have worn it every year to multiple parties and events. I have jazzed it up some years with a feather mask. I absolutely love this costume!

I decided to splurge on this costume 2 years ago, because I didn't want another ho-hum costume, and didn't want to rent. It has by far been the best costume purchase I have ever made! The look of the costume exudes dark beauty. It is comfortable even in larger sizes, which is difficult to find in other costumes. Because of the quality of the material and workmanship, it has endured much better than any of the "deluxe" costumes I have bought in the past. I have worn it for 2 years, more than once per year, and it is still in excellent condition. The only reason I don't say pristine is because the lace underskirt can be stepped on by you or by others if you are not careful, but I think a slightly taller heel would have fixed that problem for me.

Now I don't consider this purchase a splurge, because I have gotten more than the purchase value from the costume, and it is still ready to wear again this year if I choose. In addition, I feel that I have actually spent less money per year than I would have if I had bought a lesser costume. If you are on the fence about spending a little more for this costume, go for it! You will not regret the results.

I bought this last year to be Mrs. Lovett from Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd. It was the closest thing I could get since they didn't license a costume. My husband and I performed "A Little Priest" in two talent shows at work and both times I received raves about this outfit. I wore a corset over the outside and it made the costume seem more like it was from the movie. We also hosted a Halloween party as the same characters and again, many comments on how great it was. I act and have worn some great costumes in plays - this one ranked right up there at a fraction of the price you would pay from a theatre company. Thanks for making my Halloween last year!

This dress was a great buy! I wore it for 2 Halloweens, 3 Parties, And to work at a Halloween Attraction. It was out doors, and stood up well to the elements. I also wore it as Mrs. Lovett in a play, it's DEFINATELY theatre quality! I DEFINATELY recomend it!

This costume is completely wonderful! It was funny because it is the same dress that is on the Beheaded Wife mechanical woman(also on this site), and for my father's haunted house we got the machanical woman, and then i got the costume and I pretended to be her ghost. Great costume!!
