My daughter was so excited to be a lady bug and this costume was especially cute. Almost immediately, the seams began to split and fray. She was constantly having to pull the light up apron back up. 2 hours later, the costume could not be salvaged. Don't waste your money.

This costume looked so adorable my daughter had to have it. She wanted to be a ladybug anyway - she's 3 - so the fact that this lights up was just perfect. There aren't nearly as many lights as in the picture and the netting on the underskirt where the lights are is cheap, and it literally pulls apart if you're not careful. The underskirt also ties on the child - which is extremely stupid, since that is where the battery pack is and it's heavy. It keeps falling off my daughter, so I have to either velcro it or pin in. This is an inconvenience that I feel the costume should not have as it's [$]. If it was cheaper, then I would overlook it, but for that price I expected a lot more. I would return it, but my daughter, once she tried it on, wants to wear it. I guess I just expected it to be better!!
