I recently bought this costume for Halloween as I'm thinking about going out that night with a few girlfriends. Initially, I was simply looking for a costume that A. Had a somewhat feminine appeal B. Flattered my pear-shaped body and C. Fit within my budget of under $40 I tried on so many other items, and finally turned to this. I wasnt exactly dying to be a nurse this year, but once I had this costume on, I realized how adorable it is. It's fitted at the bust and waist, and flares at the hips, which is good, PLUS, and probably most importantly in my opinion, you get A LOT more leg coverage in this one than most "nurse" costumes these days. I'm 5'6 and it's only a couple inches above my knees, which to me, is perfect. I'm about a size 12, and though the waist is pretty tight, a size large fits me well. The only drawback and my one disappointment was in the quality of the cape, which firstly, isnt trimmed with white lace as in the photo. Nor does the collar have any practical way of connecting. It came with two "outie" clasps so you can't hook it together, and even if you find another way of securing it, it sits a lot higher on the shoulder than in the picture. But this costume doesnt need the cape to be adorable, in fact, and this is what I also love, but without the cape the costume can quickly go from simply "cute" to pretty darn sexy. The straps are stretchy too, and can be easily pulled down to sit off the shoulder which looks great too. [...]Look at all the other nurse costumes) you get a pretty versatile costume. You could easily pair this with white legggings or pantyhose and the cape and make it appropriate for parties or trick or treating with kids, or sex it up with a garter belt and stockings, heels, and sans cape for clubbing or bedroom fun. Love it!

This costume is very stretchy so it fit me very well. My measurements are approximately 38" 32" 36" (bust-waist-hip), I got a size large, and it hugs me in all the right places without showing my imperfections.

The nurse cap and the cape are very cute. The collar of the cape can be folded down or stay up. This is more of a cute costume rather than sexy. I think it would look nice with a white petticoat underneath.
