Very small fit, but very cute

The Animal costume is adorable and my daughter loves it BUT it is VERY small! The sizing is very misleading. We ordered a size Med, which said on the size chart for size 8-10. My daughter is a petite 8 year old. When we received it, the package says "size 8-10, fits age 5-7 year olds". Ridiculous! When does a size 8-10 not mean for 8-10 year olds?? Thankfully she can just squeeze into it, since after ordering online, there was no time left to exchange it before Halloween.

My daughter loves it, but it is a bit small for her. She is typically a size 8, so I got medium. Should have gotten the large. It fits her ok, but it's tight. Very cute and she is happy with it!
