We substituted osterich feathers to make it more unique for a grown up party. We bought four of them to go as The Four Musketeers. Two of the men had larger than normal heads, so we cut a section under the feather and sewed in some black felt to make it larger...and it worked perfectly!

Used this for a Puss In Boots Costume. The hat has a velcro piece so that one side can be rolled up if desired, but the velcro is so poor quality that it doesn't hold. I had to stitch the side up.
