Comments about Mexican Poncho Adult Costume:

I bought this for my husband to wear to a Halloween party. He hates dressing up, so I thought this would be easy for him to wear with jeans, his own shoes, and a comfortable shirt underneath. The poncho itself is kind of weird - a foamy material around the chest and shoulders with a more soft material below. I ended up altering the shoulders a bit with a few safety pins. The shoulder areas propped themselves up making him appear the shape of a rectangle. I folded the shoulder areas in and pinned them from the inside so they laid flat on his shoulders. It looked much better. A sombrero, fake mustache, and pistols made this a pretty nice costume.
