Wore it on a chilly Halloween night to multiple parties - super comfortable - once I got it on!! Everything about it fight just right (great size-finder page helped a lot) except that the arms were a bit skinny, took about ten minutes to get it on. I did get a lot of compliments on it though! It's just really really pretty and I want to try to find other occasions to wear it!!

I went into a spirit store tried on like 7 costumes and all of them were too short or too revealing in some way or form. I work at a bank and needed to find something appropriate that followed dress code to wear. When tried this on it was perfect. Comfortable, easy to put on, not too revealing yet still sexy and sassy in its own way. Dont need to have cleavage and behind all out there for everyone to see to feel good & sexy.

This was bought for my daughter to wear to a compition for her job. She has an excellent figure so this was a perfect fit for her. I was impressed at the quality being as it was so reasonably priced.

This is a great deal. The costume is nice quality at such a great price. We ordered the red and the blue. It is so comfortable. Keep in mind - it is fitted as the picture suggests, but even more so than your average costume. I wear a 4 and usually get the small or an extra large kids costume, but ordered the medium in case it wasn't warm and I needed room to wear a shirt underneath. The medium fits perfectly - and a small would have been too small for my arms and chest. I really like that it is not too low-cut as so many female costumes are, so I don't feel uncomfortable wearing it to a costume party with colleagues.

Bummer!! I went out of my comfort zone to order this for a work party. After reading the other reviews I was optimistic; at 5'11" it sounded like it might be long enough. It is! However there is a MAJOR mistake in the stitching wherein the left portion of the chest is caught up with the left sleeve (like fabric stuck in a zipper), very obviously, leaving my entire left side completely out of whack and looking horrendous. I'm an intermediate seamstress with enough skill to remove a few surplus stitches, BUT sadly the two parts are sewn completely together, well beyond my skill level. I don't want to spend more $$ for a tailor to fix this costume, so it will be returned. Too bad because otherwise it fits well, looks pretty good on my 47-year-old self and is completely wearable for a few hours. Stretchy fabric if no one else has mentioned. What a disappointment that I got the one that snuck by the quality control folks.

this is great! i picked out about 5 costumes i wanted to try on. i tried on this one first and didnt try anymore on because i loved it. and the oly thing u really need to buy is fangs to complete the look :) its so good. i CANT WAIT till haloween :)

I was surprised at how flattering this costume is. Typically velvet doesn't flatter a fuller figure as mine, but this one made me feel tall and skinny. Keep in mind, though, that it is very long and will drag unless you don't mind picking it up when you walk. Personally, I think the length adds to the whole look.

I love the way this costume fit me. I'm kind of bigger in the chest, and I usually wear a 10. I bought the large, and it fits great, the only thing is my arms are muscular and it's a little tight in the arms, but not too bad. I'm going to put some vampire makeup on, and I think it will look great. I wanted something sexy, but not too revealing, couldn't find anything on buycostumes, and this one was perfect! Price was great too!

Used it for a costume party last year, i was 19. I'm slightly over weight but it fit my body very well. I was able to dance in it, though I did hold it up some. I was able to take my little brother and sister trick or treating. Held up very good for having it on well over 6 hours, still looks brand new.

This costume is typical of many on the market now in that you definitely have to go to a larger size in order for the fit to be right. I am 5'6" tall, weigh 135 pounds, and am a bit broad in the shoulders. Normally I wear sizes in the 8-10 range (medium). I bought this costume in a size large, and it just fits me with a tiny bit of room to spare. The upper part of the sleeves is slightly tight as well - my biceps are about 11" around, so judge accordingly.

The hems in this garment are not finished and it is very long, so plan on hemmimg it if you want to be able to walk safely while wearing it. I haven't measured yet, but I expect I will need to put a 6" hem in it to keep the bottom of the robe just off the floor.

Other than that, the robe is lovely and I plan on wearing it to greet the ToTs at the door on halloween night.

this was for my 9yr old daughter it worked out perfect. she wanted to be a vampire didn't like any of the other vampire costumes out there, we saw this one and she loved it.
