Comments about Gothic Priestess Hooded Robe Adult Costume:

I bought this robe for a simple Halloween party costume that could be dressed up. I was pleased with the material but not the garment construction. With some alterations, the robe looks a lot better and is more functional for a party. I'm 5'5" @ 120 lbs so this was a bit big. I added adjustable gatherings to the sleeves and the top sides of the robe underneath the armpits so it could be tightened. This fixed the uneven hem. I didn't like where the cord was attached and it seemed cheap. I removed the tabs for the cord and am adding new ones with a nicer/thicker cord. I'm also adding 2 loops to the hood so that it can be bobypinned to my hair. I don't think it will stay up on its own, but it is plenty roomy. For the price, this is probably a good value and with minor adjustments it is much better. It is a good buy if you're crafty or know someone who is.
