i got to before and they didnt work the first one didnt go back down the 2nd one didnt come out of the pumpkin the 3rd one worked perfectly for one and a half days and then it didnt go back in all the way and then it didnt come out of the pumpkin so we took it apart and just let it stand up for halloween AND IT WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT but were getting grave digger for a replacement. and by the way im mrhalloweenjunkie on youtube.

We had planned to use this for part of our Halloween display. The motor now keeps running but nothing happens. So that item was left on our coffee table as an expensive paperweight.

THIS PROP IS GREAT...I BOUGHT SO MANY PROPS THIS YEAR FROM SPIRIT AND THEY ARE ALL GREAT BUT THE POPPING GOBLIN IS REALLY UNIQUE..ONE REASON IS THAT IT IS A BLOWMOLD WITH ADDED ANIMATION...JUST AWESOME.... LOVE HIM...

Just bought it today, the last one in the store and we are very happy. Worked great out of the box and the neighbor kids loved it. Will enjoy watching peoples reaction on Halloween.

I read the one review that had problems with their unit(s). Mine worked just fine right out of the box. True, you DO need to put on a flat, smooth surface so when it activates, there is enough room for it to activate and run properly. Lights up fine. Decent size. Pumpkin measures about 27" high when non-activating. All in all, it's a FUN product and now is a GREAT addition to my ever expanding collection!

Maybe some day they'll make a larger size? Although if it were too big, it might be more difficult to ship or to store, unless storage space is not an issue for you.

Still, it would be pretty COOL!

ok my spirits only had 2 of these my first one i brought home only jumped once and never went back inside the pumpkin and when it did it started smoking i took it back for another but this one does not jump up all the way because the springs arnt streached out far enough it still does jump but not all the way and it jumps some what fast it scared my aunt cause she was not expecting it but if you buy it make sure you put it on compeley flat surface cause if you dont it well break right away and these need to be made better but im gonna try and get my first one back cause ill fix it cause my first one jumped up all the way and was faster i think some how negative and positive wires are touching and thats fixable but when these are activate try not to touch them or else it wont work because the display at the store had a problem to the surface was not flat enough and it was to cramed with other props so we moved it and it worked fine but there awesome props im just not rating a 5 cause they dont always work

The poppin'Goblin prop is a must buy prop.Perfect for anything you need it for including trick or treating and halloween parties.The picture shows a goblin popping up from behind the jack'o'lantern don't expect what you see in the picture expect somthing even better.It looks and works better than online it looks better in person and it jumps up faster than it does inside spirit halloween. It does not pop up from behind the pumpkin it litterly pops out from the inside of the pumkin.There is a door in the back of the pumkin that starts to slowly open up when the goblin is activated.The goblin's base is attached to the door.The goblin pops up fast after he is done speaking and after the base is done pushing the door open.The base stops pushing the door open as soon as the goblin is done speaking.When the goblin lights up there is a light inside the pumpkin which makes the pumpkin light up white.There are also lights in the goblin's eyes wich are red and a white one inside the stem of the pumpkin.Before he pops up he speaks and after he pops up he laughs.This is a must buy prop that is well worth the price!

This is my 1st animatronic piece I seen in spirit and had to have it. Came pre-assembled...great. Volume is a good level and the laugh from the gobblin is great. Lights up really nice too.

This decoration is my personal favorite of Spirit's "Jumping" decorations. I purchased it along with a Foot Pad activator the day my local Spirit store opened. He comes completely assembled in his box, all you have to do is plug him in. At first when I saw this decoration on the website I thought he just popped up from behind the pumpkin, but it's even better than that; he literally comes out from inside the illuminated pumpkin and jumps up! The sensor is pretty sensetive, so it was a good idea for me to buy a Foot Pad as well (Its jack being right beside the adapter jack on the bottom back of the pumpkin). The ONLY con I have with this product is that he is a little smaller than he looks on the picture, but that worked out well for me as he fits better where I ended up putting him. The pumpkin (Which stays illuminated as long as it's plugged in) is made of a somewhat hard plastic, and the goblin feels like he is made of a very thick latex. The clothes feel like a slightly thin, stretchy fabric, and the body structure seems to be pretty sturdy. This would work great for giving trick or treaters a real scare, or just for some cute fun at a Halloween party. Overall, I felt this purchase was well worth the price.
