You need to use the power adapter plug with this one. He will run continously that way. And that's exactly what you want. Triggering props is never easy. A solid, continuous moving prop is great. And this guy delivers. Two years and he's never complained or broken down. He's not happy he can't escape from the grave. But he keeps trying and it looks great while he does! Creepy and a solid winner in the graveyard. Large too- doesn't look small within a full graveyard. Highly recommend.

Not a horrible piece, but certainy could use a stand-by or motion/sound activated mode when hooked into AC power. I'm worried that this thing going from sundown -> sunup, little motor & plastic arms will wear out after 1st season. Red strobing eye is kinda lame. Sounds are good, animation is smooth.

Would cost you about the same to find a motor and other bits to build on your own. Personally, don't like the sound effects. Add your own mask and hands to improve the realism.

I plan to set him outside on Halloween in my garden area. I like the fact that you can buy and adapter with him. However, I wish that it would have been included. What I did not like about him is he comes with this fake moss stuff. It falls off and is sort of messy. He is worth the money!

I used it in my graveyard outside and it worked pretty good. I would recommend using the foot pad, so I'm getting one for next year. It was creapy looking at night.

Not a lot to say about this guy except that he is creepy and really sells the zombie crawling out of the grave. Great animation and really makes the graveyard come "alive."

Bought a lot of thing for my grave yard which sits next to my dungeon garage. I also bought the AC adapter(so I wouldn't need batteries). It was not the cheapest thing I bought, but after hooking it up, and burring; it the most rewarding. However, I couldn't see a way to adjust the volume(which is loud moaning), but a small sand bag over the speaker works well. I have so many props, I just didn't want his moaning to over shadow my other props in the cemetery. Its Fun and easy to put together, and very eye catching.

Looked a little cheap but with low lighting looks great and does the job of scaring the kiddies! Sound effects add to the spookyness. Came with no dircetion but only took a minute to figure it out.
