I decided that i wanted me and my boyfriend and our daughter to go as a "theme" and thus we chose Alice in Wonderland! i bought my boyfriends costume (the mad hatter) and my daughters costume (the rabbit) but for the life of me i havent been able to find an Alice costume. I went to spirit one day and low and behold was this beautiful dress. I am super excited for halloween and this dress is just perfect!

Okay, so on my ride home from work, I was thinking about what to be for Halloween and came up with the idea to be a doll. I stopped in the Spirit of Halloween store and tried on this precious little costume. I fell in love with it immediately! First off, the outfit is adorable and it looks exactly like the picture (will probably need to steam the dress though, as it it wrinkled coming out of the package). The color is vibrant....beautiful. For the price, it doesn't look cheaply made AND it's comfortable. The other thing I like is that it's versatile - as mentioned, I plan on using it as a doll dress, but you can of course still be Alice and the guy working at Spirit said that it can also pass for a french maid (or maid) costume. To accessorize, I bought the black and white striped thigh highs and will wear my hair in pig tails with the black bow head band that came with it. I got all of this for $42 - don't forget to sign up for your 20% coupon!
One thing I must say is that it runs a tad bit big. I'm 5'3", 135 lbs. and usually wear a size 6. I was able to wear the XS in this dress, which states that it fits sizes 0-2. So, if you want it to be really fitted (you can adjust the apron tie in the back as well) and shorter on you, choose the size below what you normally wear.
Anyway, I'm too excited to wear this this year on Halloween....I'm gonna be the cutest doll baby ever! :-)
