My son is small for a nine year old usually wears a 7-8 in clothing. so I bought him the costume in a 7-8. It was too short it was riding him. It was comical, but it was too small. This costume needs to be ordered one size larger than your childs actual size. Costume was very cute. I couldnt get it in a large it was sold out bummer.
